Was Bhajji faking the injury?

When asked Dhoni laughed and said " I can't say exactly what was the problem, I think it is some muscle cramp in stomach or something. if you need any information ask physio"..! The way he spoke, I feel there is something fishy here. Was Bhajji faking the injury?

Really Dhoni looked very sarcastic talking about that injury ,he was like dont know about the injury but it was something that didnt let him bowl :hmmm:

I believe Bhajji shrieked, and backed out (chickened out) of challenge against England. He was getting hammered already, had no reply, hence feigned an injury as damage limitation exercise on his reputation and future selection in the side.

Ok, I am fine with questioning the guy's performances and lack of form, but accuse him of not being commited to the team and faking injuries, when in the past he has been a tough fighter for us...... Sorry, it will take much more evidence than an implied quote by Dhoni to make me believe that about any Indian player

I am not questioning his commitment to the team, its just that the answer from Dhoni didnt look convincing.

Surely hes gone now? Could it be that the "Make it Large" ad has had an effect on the dressing room camaradierie ? Both Dhoni and Harby are alpha males and won't take a step back. Neither have looked like their old selves at all. I am opening myself up to ridicule :((

His batting in the 2nd innings didn't seem to hamper him, played all shots comfortably.

I think he won't play in next test.
I would be very very surprised if plays. He has actually been a liability to the team, forget taking wickets, but he was unable to contain the run rate in both games, hence putting unnecessary pressure on the quicks.

I guess steps to drop Bhajji are being planned  .... Must be difficult to drop him by saying "you need to improve to hold on to your spot"

Did they say it was an abdominal injury right? Don't really like making the point but I can't think what type of such injury would impede him from batting/fielding but not bowling, other than getting smoked..

Unless there is an evidence, it is just an speculation. But yes, batting and running would put similar amount of strain on abdominal muscles as bowling spin bowling. So, Bhajji's reluctance to bowl is questionable, when he was able to bat ( and field) relatively comfortably.
