Was Bhajji faking the injury?

Looked comfy while batting. Miracle recovery ;) Let's see if he is dropped...how will it affect Dhoni's and Bhajji's business partnership? :P

His batting in the 2nd innings didn't seem to hamper him' date=' played all shots comfortably.[/quote'] He scores well when sachin is at the other end. And sorry, he won't fake an injury because this is not the first time he performed badly in recent years and there is not much threat to his spot

My question to OP-- Does it really matter if he was faking injury or not?....His figure from first test and second test hardly are different. But since you're so keen to know about it, he came out to bat and tried every other shot possible. Didnt give Ponka any idea if he was injured because he batted the way as he always does. There was no adjustment/change in his batting style due to injury . Did you get any idea from his style of batting?

At what point did he stop bowling? I wonder whether it's the fallout from the Bell incident. Hypothetically, it's possible Harbajan was completely against the decision (like many of us) and was extremely pissed off that Dhoni/senior players didn't "listen" to him. It's possible heated words were exchanged. Something like this: Bhajji: I'm dead against recalling Bell. Dhoni/Senior players: Sorry, we need play for the spirit of the game and to save face. Bhajji: If you recall, I'll be so mad I won't bowl a single over in the innings. Dhoni/Senior players: Even if you don't bowl, we are still going to recall him. This decision is bigger (larger?) than you. Bhajji: "I quit (bowling)" Walks away madly. It's all pure speculation of course. But some of our posters were quiet mad about the bell incident. Is it possible some of our players shared the same opinion?

Shouldn't it be Ponka's :hmmm:

He hit plenty of boundaries, including sixes but was unable to bowl, not even earlier in the morning session??? Whole thing smells fishier than Dartbhajan's claims to be a spin bowler.

I guess steps to drop Bhajji are being planned  .... Must be difficult to drop him by saying "you need to improve to hold on to your spot"
+1 and i think they are gonna play 4 seamers in 3rd test match.

Ha, very good man. Might be, who knows with this team 'spirit'.

He will never fake injury. There is dissent in the camp and one can see it. It is good for him that they wont play him in the next match.
I feel that too...
