kabira Posted July 29, 2011 Posted July 29, 2011 I really dont get this obsession with rankings' date='our aim is to win series or atleast draw this one.[/quote'] I don't think we are obessed with it, its others who keeping come at use and doubting us. We bloody worked hard for number 1 ranking. haven't lost series home and away in 3 years..
Trichromatic Posted July 29, 2011 Posted July 29, 2011 Highest score among your top 7 was 32 and 4 out of those 7 didn't reach double figures. Try twisting that fact. What can FTB do on such tracks? :dontknow:
kabira Posted July 29, 2011 Posted July 29, 2011 These thread is for those would come out and doubt us. We may have been bowled for 150 today if batted first or may be tomorrow. But point is this is not our home conditions, alien conditions for us. But we are slaughtered for it. We are called poor tourists etc. We are called under prepared etc. Take that ****ers
Sid Posted July 29, 2011 Posted July 29, 2011 Whats this thread about , English team is the bestest test team that graced this earth :dontknow:
kabira Posted July 29, 2011 Posted July 29, 2011 The conclusion English struggle against trundlers on their home conditions English will struggle and have struggled on dust bowls in India. So if they can't play home and away, how can they be number :--D
seedhi Posted July 29, 2011 Posted July 29, 2011 Hmm.. and England's score in first innings: 221 courtesy of Broad. Sherlock Holmes' address : 221B Baker Street.
Guest Gunner Posted July 29, 2011 Posted July 29, 2011 The conclusion English struggle against trundlers on their home conditions English will struggle and have struggled on dust bowls in India. So if they can't play home and away, how can they be number :--D Their batting is rubbish. It is extremely overrated, I said this immediately after the Lord's match. The way Zak (1st innings) and Ishant (2nd innings) took apart their technique was telling. They will score loads of runs on flattish tracks but that's all. Cook if he gets there, will be the most ridiculous member of the 10K club even more laughable than Mahela.
Rajiv Posted July 29, 2011 Posted July 29, 2011 Highest score among your top 7 was 32 and 4 out of those 7 didn't reach double figures. Try twisting that fact. So, are the English FTBs ? Why can't they play well in home conditions ? :hmmmm2: Or why can't they play swing ? ..but they are not born Englishmen.
Guest Gunner Posted July 29, 2011 Posted July 29, 2011 ..but they are not born Englishmen. Pwnage!!!! :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:
BERGKAMP Posted July 29, 2011 Posted July 29, 2011 They are a good workman like team filled with very fit athletes with a great work ethic and will produce very impressive results every now and then. We are a team with pure natural cricketers with ability no other team in the world can match, and when we are on song we will be almost impossible to beat. Our work ethic sometimes lets us down and we come a cropper.
Guest Gunner Posted July 29, 2011 Posted July 29, 2011 What gives you the impression that the public have started celebrating? They have no idea across the atlantic. :cantstop::cantstop:
kabira Posted July 29, 2011 Posted July 29, 2011 ..but they are not born Englishmen. :haha::haha::haha::haha::haha: 100 lohar ki ek sonar ki
phaedrus Posted July 29, 2011 Posted July 29, 2011 any lead thats more than 50 would be very, very handy.
dial_100 Posted July 29, 2011 Posted July 29, 2011 Well, its like whoever we play against are #1 side. When we were playing Aussies, they were #1 ranked but others did not accept that we are playing at par or even better cricket. Then we went to SA, they were claimed to be #1 even though officially we were on the top. We played exceptionally well there as well. Now that has settled so we have been put down against Eng. English are claiming that they are #1. Let them including Pakis cry out loud at we are not #1 team, but in all the comparisons, one thing is sure, that is us. Its like every comparison is centered around team INDIA. Wonder why?? If all 3 are better than India then how come none of them claiming #2 spot.
Guest Gunner Posted July 29, 2011 Posted July 29, 2011 :haha::haha::haha::haha::haha: 100 lohar ki ek sonar ki sau sonar ki ek lohar ki sir. :giggle::giggle:
BERGKAMP Posted July 29, 2011 Posted July 29, 2011 I hope Dravid and Laxman bat out the whole day ala Calcutta '01. Imagine 300-1 at stumps
Sid Posted July 29, 2011 Posted July 29, 2011 :haha::haha::haha::haha::haha: 100 lohar ki ek sonar ki sau sonar ki ek lohar ki sir.:giggle::giggle: :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:
Alchemist Posted July 29, 2011 Posted July 29, 2011 I hope Dravid and Laxman bat out the whole day ala Calcutta '01. Imagine 300-1 at stumps It can easily be 329 all out. I would rather have them concentrate on time than runs at this movement.
zep1706 Posted July 29, 2011 Posted July 29, 2011 India should not have let them score more than 150. They would have been down and out from the game then, now 221 is a good total on this pitch, we need to play really well to get a good lead here.
