kabira Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 most definately the agriculture in gujarat has grown leaps and bounds. Industry was Gujarat's main focus but Modi has changed that. Industry could have grown under others as well, but turning around agriculture, well thats stellar work

kabira Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 I have very good positive experience with Gandhinagar Sachivalaya (bureaucrats's office). I went there as My sister's daughter who is not from India, needed permission to leave country from Foreign Department. She was leaving in a week. The guy who was incharge, met me and told not to worry, just send the documents and he will release the permission on same day. I was really happy. He gave his phone number. But this guy went on vacation for few days, my dad called him, but found that he is on vacation so naturally we were worried. We got number of person who will be incharge on his behalf. That lady was most very courteous, ideal public servant for me. She told my dad, send the documents by register post and also send fax. They will take care of it. The foreign department has to send fax/letter to local police commissioner so that commissioner hands over document so that she can leave. All this was done in 2 days. Only delay was from commissioner's office. Damn they delayed it because they were inaugurating new passport office LOL. All this was done without any bribe, without using any clout or names.

kabira Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 The guy is going all out to wipe congress from Gujarat. His aim until next election in 2012 is to get one congress guy every 15 days. He already got 2 very popular leaders from Congress. LOL He had severed relationship with several seniors leaders in State like Vallabh Kathiria..but he is trying to bring them back as well. Vallabhbhai Kathiria is back. Also it seems this will be last time he will stand in election for assembly. His eyes now set for national level work. Rumours are Anandiben Patel will be next CM
