Guest Gunner Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 I vaant kaanphidenshe to come back to the team :yay: :yay:
NareshK Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 My team would be Gambhir(Sachin will open if he plays) Sehwag Kohli Yuvraj(If he regains fitness) Raina Dhoni (Yusuf pathan if sachin and Yuvi dont play) Ashwin Zaheer(If fit) Munaf(As he keeps things tight) Ishanth/Pk/Sree (on form) I see this team getting bounced out easily unless they prepare a wicket where the ball doesnt bounce too high. Kohli, Raina, Dhoni, Gambhir all have problems against the short ball and even when the ball swings. Also unlike tests, you cant duck and leave too long. You need to play the hook and the pull. But it will be a good learning experience for them.
Cricket Tragic Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 The selectors also need to decide about what to do with Zaheer. I don't think we can rely on him for too much longer. I'd play him in these ODIs and rest him for the ODIs at home vs England and WI. That should give him a break before the tour of Australia.

Also i remember a match in which yusuf pathan ducked under the short ball well but the only thing was that it was the last ball of the 50 th over!!!!!

Our one day team can do without Zak but our test team without him will struggle so lets rest him.
Andy Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 Yusuf wont be a bad choice, But the lad knows only to play in one gear, We could have tried Rahane too. You need a Decent bat to survive in those conditions.
Andy Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 Hope RAVINDRA JADEJA doesnt make a comeback.
Jayaram_IND Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 Jadeja >>>> Yusuf :isalute: Maybe in your POV but not for me .Again its your opinion.

anotherhawkeye Posted August 6, 2011 Author Posted August 6, 2011 Expected line up, except for Dravid. Wonder how our batting lineup is going to be? With all the big guns back, can Kohli/Rohit even get a chance to bat?
