daryl1985 Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 Can't belief whats happening in my city, time to get the army in and start getting fundamental with these fecking useless pr*cks. These idiots have it too easy, will turn to school in September and claim dole money once they have finished. They do sh*t like this and moan why they live in ghetto's and don't have a decent job. totally agree. The army needs to clear house.
Jadoo Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 I blame the parents of these sh*ts as well. They've probably given up on life a long time ago and left with taking handouts from the tax payers. Their probably not even complaining, it would take them 3 months to earn enough in handouts to buy a plasma.
Dhondy Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 There will be hell to pay for this. When people abuse the freedom, the respect for human rights in a law abiding country, they lose those rights. I agree with Jadoo. It's appalling to think that these people are also "British".
Sooda Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 Is this pent up frustration at social inequality being vented, or just nutjobs doing their thang...
Dhondy Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 How long before the BBC, The Guardian and The Independent turn apologists for these criminals?
Jadoo Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 How long before the BBC' date=' The Guardian and The Independent turn apologists for these criminals?[/quote'] It's crazy Doc. Was listening to the BBC where Ken Livingstone was blabbering on about how it's the conservatives government's fault for not doing enough in providing job and whatever else. The idiot forgets to realise that these very kids would have grown up under labour's wonderful educational reforms where they would been used to getting weekly pay cheques for turning up to school. Great the see the billions his party spent on "education, education, education" bearing fruit.
Dhondy Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 I share your frustrations, Jadoo. UK is a haven for left wing, bleeding heart liberals who have elevated political correctness to an art form. A country is in trouble when there are more human rights lawyers than engineers. Remember the triumphalism in the pages of certain newspapers when thousands of anti-fees youngsters brought the country to a grinding halt? Even then, shops were damaged, but the apologists in the left wing media, failed to condemn. These are the crows coming home to roost.

I know it's a joke, and if anything political correctness alienates the minorities even more. BTW Doc, you were right about the apologists, the BBC are putting out the feelers about how these riots are due to police heavy handedness and governments fault for not providing jobs to these failures. Lol @ police heavy-handedness, had this been in India the thugs would have been beaten black and blue with sticks.
Rajiv Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 ^^ Dhondy, on similar note, can u tell me why does UK with "open arms" accept likes of Musharraf, Altaf Hussain, Nawaz Sharif - all who are basically the worst of the worst. That Pak cricketer went to UK openly discussing refugee app and there are numerous others who talk about "exile" in UK then you have the likes of Nadeem Shravan who are hiding there Whats the deal?, is UK - free for all
punjabiplaya Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 britains open door policy is why the uk is slowly going down the pan!!!! If you ply a sob story you can stay in the uk with a free hose hand outs n benefits..thats why they come here, human rights are a big thing here, but unfortunatly theres a generalisation in all applicants, where in essence each case should be dealt with individually, why is london know as londonstan?????? These riots are going to cause more racist views to form,i mean tbh the black community need more respect for themselves, these chips on there shoulders need to be chisled off now, they feel the police have a vendetta against them,i mean these people have no father figures in there lives, well known fact many black fathers are absent in the upbringing of there sons, lets be honest if your not scared of your father your hardly gona respect a policeman or a teacher or anyone come to that! These boys need a good thrashing from there fathers or in this case from the police! animals!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think a lot of people agree but not many would actually come out and say it. Apart from Enfield, all of the other areas that have been hit have a large black community and most of the rioters are young black males.
Sachinism Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 http://yfrog.com/kk2mrfbj Lolllllll Asian business owners stood up to rioters in East London and got them running back where they came from. Look at these immigrants coming to our country and defending our boroughs and neigbourhods
Vijay.Sharma Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 From what I saw in the news just now (in India) it's now spread to Birmingham as well. I doubt if this rioting is just about one incident. I think it is a release of public anger over police brutality and the big-brother nature of the control that administration has on people's lives there. It seems more like a revolt than just plain rioting following a stray incident. Something tells me it was carefully planned and organized like the kar sevaks march to Babri Masjid in 92. Who was it, the Sex Pistols, that sang 'Anarchy in the UK'? Megadeth made a cover I know. Edit - Let me quickly add before any misinterpretation happens: I am not supporting the rioters or the administration. I think it works both ways. As many have pointed out above, the UK is paying for it's open door policy and extremities of political correctness. It's a real sad state of affairs man.
Guest Gunner Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 I find this thread very interesting. I have always wondered who are the people who ask the Government to wage war against its own people (send in the army etc). That question has been answered now. It is always easy to accuse "bleeding heart liberals" for all the evils in a society however many of those fundamental "rights" that you enjoy today can also be attributed to the same "bleeding heart liberals". Therefore I fail to understand the hypocrisy which leads people who have benefited from the ideology of liberals to go on to slander them. The middle class population of every country who have a bit to lose are always the ones plugging for a police state, I have seen that both in India and the UK. Therefore it is no surprise to me that educated people on this forum are asking for ruthless suppression of certain sections of society instead of correcting imbalances which have led us to this pass. @ Punjabiplaya - "Open doors policy leading to anarchy", this is the most populist drivel ever spouted. If you read the red tops long enough you even begin speaking their language. Immigrants have contributed significantly to Britain as a nation. Today the British government has more entry barriers on educated professionals compared to any other developed nation in the world. Secondly, a large number of refugees do come from extremely dire circumstances and to write them off as "just another sob story" is pretty inhumane.
asterix Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 The policing has been atrocious so far, of what I've seen on Telly.. Totally caught off guard.. What's the point of 'holding the line' and moving here and there? The rioters just move away to the next target..
Dhoni_fan Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Getting home from work last night was scary, I could not get the train as per usual so my friend picked me up we drove through and saw stores that had been deserted and cars lieing on their side which had been burned, very sad and distressing scenes
King Tendulkar Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Initial ballistics reports suggest that the police officer shot by the "gangster" was a police bullet. Looks like we have a classic police execution and attempted cover up on our hands. Riot away The guy was a hard core gangster and had a gun. No sympathy for your mate. The black youth are out of control. You should act as a community leader for your bros and calm them down, but seems you have same mentality and what to express your chip on shoulder as well. And I thought you were a proud englishman??:giggle:

Secondly, a large number of refugees do come from extremely dire circumstances and to write them off as "just another sob story" is pretty inhumane.Well said, Gunna! On your observation of the hypocrisy, I have come to the conclusion and have learned to accept that all of us are hypocrites and there is nothing morally wrong in hypocrisy simply because we are beings wired to behave differently to different situations. That's where my emphasis is on detaching morality from the event/situation and attaching t,s,p,c to understand the specific behavior of an individual. In some cases it leads to empathy and in some cases when there is lack of experience to relate to, it results in sympathy. It is ironic and not funny how tolerant a person becomes when he gives up morality. On the topic itself, I think UK is paying for it's past "sins". They exploited many nations and whence were forced to empathize with them by undergoing the same experience at the hands of the Nazis, have now opened their doors to the future generations of people they wronged. All the political correctness, etc is a manifestation of ancestral guilt and it is this guilt that has made them open their doors to the refugees and not-well-to-do people from the former colonies. These migrants have moved to UK in the hope of a better future. The problem is that the human being instinctively tries to change his environment rather than adapt to it which causes resentment in the hosts. Result: haves/have nots, racial profiling, ghettoization of migrants, state high-handedness, and general distrust and disharmony in the nation.
