Why are people reacting as if the Indian team has never lost a test series badly before ?? or maybe its just that most of these fans have never watched the Indian team in the 1990s

Not exactly. It's not that I felt bad after a series. I have seen cricket in 90s. I saw the match when India lost in WC 2007. But these 3 matches felt like longest 3 matches ever. There was always a hope that team will improve, do something well. I always expected something good and there was disappointment after most of the sessions. I don't care about rankings. I won't mind as long as team played good cricket. But this was not the case this time.
