More importantly need to show some passion, hunger and desire. Would take any series win to be honest. But even if do lose want to go down fighting and show some "over my dead body" spirit as are holders of the WC.

OP is nostradamus. India is going to whitewash England in the ODI series. We will have our young guns Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and carrom ball specialist Ravichandran Ashwin back. The following is my XI Viru Sachin Gambo RAHUL DRAVID Virat Kohli/Rohit Sharma Raina Dhoni Mishra PK Ishant RP Really don't know what Vinay Kumar is doing in the squad. Selectors need to grow a pair and include someone like Varun Aaron. Its understandable if Dhoni wants to sit out of this tour...he must be going through some shock after this drubbing. I have faith in the flamboyant gujarati opener Parthiv Patel. He is a useful opener and good with the gloves as well.

Whenever we have come up with such threads, they have just come back to bite us in the ass. I hope we win the series but this will not mask our test series route. Only IPL and CL can do that ;) If we win, be ready for the typical English excuses that no one cares about ODI's
If England win, be ready for the typical Indian excuse that England wouldn't win in India. Going by the skill sets and committment of the two teams, it's hard to see it being anything other than 5-0 to England

5-0 seems far fetched even though I would love to see it but going by the way this tour is turning out I would be happy with winning the ODI series. The last thing we need is despite Englands pathetic WC campaign were they just sneaked into the QF's before getting thrashed, some of the English Trools aka English commentators will question our WC win

I will give you them now, I don't care about one day matches:--D

Ok enough of this bullsh1t. - Former English Players talking trash, equaling us to charity teams - Timmy phaggy Bresnan telling us to go back - English commentators doubting our former #1 status - Some English writers considered our WC win a fluke - British Pakis suddenly discovering their loyalty to the queen n betting on how many games we will lose If none of these reasons give India the motivation to beat the living sh1t outta them in ODIs then nothing will.... C'mmon who's w/ me!! They are gonna get the beating of life time....they still haven't experienced the spanking MSD n Viru can give
This made me laugh. If we reintroduced conscription the country would empty like a leaky bucket:haha:

Andy Flower does.
Of course I want us to do well, but what really floats my boat is the tests. On a scale of importance winning the tests is like getting the opportunity to pleasure Jennifer Aniston for a long weekend. Winning the one dayers would be not having to do the wife:winky:

Given that this is England, you might win one of the matches, 4-1.

Bi-lateral ODI series mean absolutely nothing. Even if we win 5-0 it doesn't do anything. ODIs are meaningful only in the world cup or few major tourneys like Tri series in Aus, Asia Cup or Champions trophy, other than that odis are meaningless.
