Do you think the legacy of SRT will be hurt by this series!

it looked the same in 2006 but he had a renaissance' date='no reason why he cant do something similar.plus hes not batting ll that badly too[/quote'] Ummm....back in 2006 he was 33, and he will be 39 soon. There can always be comebacks, but age and time is catching up on him......the last thing you want is him retiring in disgrace which will happen to Dravid and Laxman. God I hope that does not happen to SRT where he looks like a fool everytime he comes to bat. He was not smart enough to quit after the WC, but I hope he is smart to quit before that comes....

IMO, he has not had standout performances but has looked better than he did in England and not yet stupid. He started the tour well in Melbourne, but you can see the performance slowly dipping with the constant failures to reach the 100th ton. Plus the team not playing well and wickets falling all around him cannot help. He will start looking stupid once he consistently starts getting out cheaply which has not happened yet, but will happen at some time. These people need to realize when to quit.

Sachin is nowhere close to a liability at this point. But Dravid/Laxman are getting there. Dravid.. i simply can't believe. It was day and night. It confuses us even more. Whether he will turn it around once more or will continue declining. He is 40 next year. His reflexes are waning. Before they nudge him out like they did in ODI he better picks a series to quit in the coming days.

Gavaskar and Kumble are two India ATGs that quit before it got too late!!! Ganguly although not a ATG, also quit before it got too late. I believe he played pretty well in his last series.

Lol at people gunning at SRT's head....he is still by far the best batsmen for India on this tour...Head and shoulders above the rest, still people thinking he is under-performing itself is a testament that his legacy is intact.

The fecking midget choked again. Can't even bat on a flat pitch. Now he is starting to embarass himself. He will not get his 100th ton. God has punished him for chasing records. :giggle:

i agree, he's played too much for the sake of personal records.

i agree' date=' he's played too much for the sake of personal records.[/quote'] You guys are being silly. Don't think he ever mentioned that the record is something that he even thinks out.

Just because he hasn't mentioned it does not mean he isn't thinking about it' date=' he is far too smart to come out and say "I want to get 100 100's"[/quote'] Yea only we know FOR SURE that he is thinking about it, when he himself may or may not be. :hahaha:

So you don't think he is thinking about it? He is a man with flaws like everyone else' date=' he has a ego just like most of us.[/quote'] Ofc he knows that he is on 99 100s and the next one will be his 100th ton. That's about it. You guys make it sound like every delivery he faces he thinks - "Hope I don't get out now cause then I will miss my 100th ton again".
