Cricketics Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 We shouldn't really compare a part. Both sucked by getting easily out for duck but Raina could have done better really. He faced about 50 deliveries for 2 ducks. Swann should have been smacked for a boundary or two.
CG Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 This "most dangerous Test opener of his generation" averages 20 in New Zealand' date=' 25 in South Africa and 27 in England. Put him on a pitch with a little bit of movement and he is as dangerous as a Pakistani opener.[/quote'] Stats are misleading.he has done well in sa and england against nz he just slogged and got out.in the series he averaged 27 in sa , sa openers also averaged 30. England he averaged 39 but this series was bad
Cricket Tragic Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 No pair is good . Both yielded no runs. WHat is with comparison. This :cantstop:
Pak_Fan_4_Eva Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 Sehwag's king pair was certainly the most hilarious one.:haha: Raina was hard done by both times. Poor lad. But that doesn't make him any less crap.

But that doesn't make him any less crap. I'm sure you enjoyed it given the fact that Sehwag has raped your bowling so often. :cantstop:

jukkha Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 As Boycott said about Raina, "He was lucky to get a 0!"

Jersey #10 Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Sehwag 1. If he wasn't fully fit then why did he even bother? 2. He came in with millions of expectations. People thought he could lift the team's spirit and go the winning ways 3. He played some horrible shots Raina - Not so much 1. He showed a lot of patience 2. He didn't play whack shots 3. He was wrongly given out both the times.
Cricket Tragic Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 'Does not have the ability to get the ball off the square' should not be confused with patience.
Trichromatic Posted August 24, 2011 Posted August 24, 2011 Not being able to score even after facing 42 deliveries is worse.
bhanu Posted August 25, 2011 Posted August 25, 2011 Not being able to score even after facing 42 deliveries is worse. Not lasting even 4 balls is even worse after all that experience. forget bout 42
ZodiaC Posted August 25, 2011 Posted August 25, 2011 Raina without a ****ing doubt. It was probably the most painful innings I've watched from an Indian player after a long long time.
