Dhoni may have won a World Cup, but he has also presided over one of India's worst Test performances in ages.

Is current England team equal / better than that Australian side? looks like...their performance speaks of itself and they will certainly beat any team home and away in coming years. They have every aspect covered like that Aus team. No real weakness. They have depth in batting and good bench in bowling and bowling wins you tests. If England come to India now, we will not be able take their 20 wickets in a single tests that pathetic our bowling is. Pace wont work much and spinners are ineffective. Look at how we struggled against weak Kiwi batting and they amassed tons of runs in the test series last year. England has much stronger batting side. How they steamrolled Australia at their backyard last year that was unthinkable, who had imagined we will lost 4-0 here, but this England is real powerhouse right now. Most of their players are at their peak and they will be for some years. They will certainly beat Sl next year in SL. Series against Pak on Dubai pattas will be boring. They will beat India in India in 2012 if we stay in this situation or if our legends retire and middle order is rookie.

Many weakness as other teams .andrew strauus form,eon morgan,swann against sub continent teams is not that effective.england have played well but fact.is we were terrible.I do not think eng will win against pak or sl.when they come to sub continent things happen and home advantage is huge factor.

I FEARED the Aussie side.. this England side have hope to be that, but atm I think its farfetched...

To be comparable with Aussie team of last decade, they have to win the matches. They don't have to get big names like that. They can do what aussies did in their era. Winning against WI, Australia, England, Pakistan, NZ etc.

They won 1 match by inning and were better than SL in two matches.

They certainly raised their games against US or we played so badly?
