Deleted_User_1
Very graceful puller and hooker of the ball. Thanks for the video, bud!
Deleted_User_1
Hey Rob, do you have Gavaskar's tons from the 1977-78 series down under against Aussie B team? Thanks!

Deleted_User_1
Yes I do' date=' not sure if i can legally upload them as i obtained that series in secretive manner......[/quote'] I would really like to see them. Late 70s was the peak of Gavaskar's career. Too bad he had to play against a few B teams.

say2chander
Praveen Kumar is a better puller. FACT !!! LOL :)
Robelinda
Does Kumar use his right or left hand?
say2chander
I thought Belinda must have told you in that perspective Rob !!! Also Kumar didn't and will not use "graphite-bat" for half of his career runs LOL :)
Robelinda
The graphite bat was for less than half a season. And it was the thinnest of graphite on the face of the bat, much ado over nothing.
say2chander
That was when it was discovered. Who knows for how long he was using it :P
Robelinda
It wasn't a secret, its just that the MCC had an issue. During the aussie summer he was featured during a test match and he received the bat from Kookaburra and he was saying he wasn't game to use it in a match yet, he only started using it towards the end of the 2005 one dayers vs Pakistan and WI. Its even visible, so you can see quite clearly when he started using it.
say2chander
Its like Gilchrist's glove balls. Everybody only saw those after 2007 WC final, he later said he always used it. Nobody knew before !!! Ricky's bat "visual" graphite presence was only known during this series. He very well may have been using it in a different form earlier or still using it ?? We all know how Australians have used "aluminum" bats before LOL :P !!! I think these "special bats" needs to be thanked for all these pull shots :) :)

Trichromatic
You sound way too bitter Because graphite bats helped him to time the shot properly and ensured that ball hit middle of the bat. :P Raina should try graphite bats. He will become a beast against short balls then.
say2chander
You sound way too bitter Of-course you don't have a sense of humor which Rob has shown in his video descriptions and I have developed after reading them over months :P
