Cricket Tragic Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 I don't know whether to laugh or to cry. Pakistan vs Zim starts tomorrow, mate.
SachDan Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 I don't know whether to laugh or to cry. Wait for five more days, you will come to know what to do :giggle:
rkt.india Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 Pandey against the likes of Broad, Anderson and co? Give me a break. Simply doesn't have the technique to play in England. How can you say that and it is ODI not Tests here. He had a 100 in SA in T20s. He is a better player when he plays steadily against pace.
rkt.india Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 rkt, do you think Manish is international class? I know his technique was criticised after the India A tour of Eng last season, hopefully it has tightened up now. I have not seen RJ bat of late, but if he has beefed up a bit, thats a good thing. The squad needs an allrounder as well. Currently we will rely too much on Raina and Virat and they are not good enough for 10 overs between them He has done well in FC even on seaming pitches and these are ODIs, not tests. He could have been tried here. Though we need alrounder right now rather than a batsman. I tell you one thing more about Pandey. He used bat lower at 6 in U19 which won U19 WC and did not get much chance in the world cup to bat, but still he was the best batsman in that side including Kohli. He was performing every where before that WC. On SA tour before the WC, he was performed very well in one day matches and always came out trumps when team needed him. I had followed that team very closely and I think talent wise he is better than any batsman that team had like Kohli or Tiwray. If he plays conventionally, he has some beautiful shots, but has started doing cowlashing in IPL which has not helped his reputation.
ganeshran Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011  Why do selectors keep going to tried and tested failures over and over again
Raghav_12 Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 Pakistan vs Zim starts tomorrow' date=' mate.[/quote'] After one sided Eng-Ind series it is our chance to see an exciting close contest..:haha:
dragonfly Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 A concussed Gambhir and Ravindra Jadeja are pretty equivalent in their abilities. Genius moves by the selectors.
mrinalmech Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 After one sided Eng-Ind series it is our chance to see an exciting close contest..:haha: Even this is getting one-sided. Zimbabwe destroying phaaaaaaast bowlers.
vvvslaxman Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 Waiting for the moment where India requires 120 in 20 overs and Jaddu plays 30 dot balls.
gaurav92 Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 ^Will he survive 30 balls for a start ? :dontknow:
TheWall Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 Waiting for the moment where India requires 120 in 20 overs and Jaddu plays 30 dot balls. ... and when he smashes the ball it will successfully touch the 30 yard circle..:nervous:

ZodiaC Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 Jaddu :woot: Is Yuppo in the team? What happened to him? Jaddu will hopefully prove us wrong. Was good with the bat in IPL (LOL I know, can't believe that I'm saying this)
mrinalmech Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 Jaddu :woot: Is Yuppo in the team? What happened to him? Jaddu will hopefully prove us wrong. Was good with the bat in IPL (LOL I know, can't believe that I'm saying this) But it was in the SC. As far as SC goes we have an army of batsmen (Both Tiwarys, Dhawan, Yusuf, Valthaty, Kohli, Rohit etc etc). Hopefully this will mean at least one World T20 win in the next 3 editions as all of them are in the SC.
