Our lower order batters can't score big against this bowling attack. Without six batters it becomes quite difficult to score runs. So if it is a low score, even five bowlers can't defend it. I thought 187 was a good score. But once they got 60 in first five overs and 100 in the first 10, they never really had to take any risk. Dhoni once again rued the injuries that have had a disastrous effect on his team's performances. Injuries have been a big concern. We have lost nine players and almost all of them feature in the first eleven. The injury nightmare, however, wouldn't extend to young Ajinkya Rahane who batted with a runner during his knock of 54 yesterday. He felt a twist in his leg while turning. It's a bit of inflammation but as of now, he wouldn't miss the next game.

He needs to pick Varun, Praveen, Munaf and either Ashwin or Mishra for the next match. Frankly speaking, Ojha would have been a better spin option than Ashwin or Mishra. Ashwin is only good in Indian conditions and Mishra bowls too many no balls.

Dhoni is such an arrogant douche. He sent back Sreesanth, who even an idiot would pick over RP Singh. RP Singh has been lobbied for heavily by the team-management and hence he has been picked (as has been quoted by all press releases by the BCCI). Sreesanth is paying for not being a sycophant coz form is certainly not the criteria. And I refuse to believe that form is the criteria for- 1. Consistently picking Sutrash Raina in Tests. 2. Constantly ignoring Robin Uthappa 3. Deserting Ojha 4. Selecting Anirudha for EPT.

Also, I would like the Captain Cool to stop whining and give us a friggin win. It is his job to play and win with the team for which he has a say in the selection. And if you whine like this, what message are you sending out to the young members of this team? That they are trash?

BTW - who is our fielding coach? Is it Trevor Penney? I think the team has a fielding coach currently, right? Wonder what he is doing to improve the fielding!?

No excuses the team has a **** bowling attack that is so predictable that any team would chase down a target set by the Indian batsmen. Rahane and Parthiv are the only ones who have performed like they belong in a No1 team.

Dhoni is always giving excuses....why is he not performing. His batting is useless. He cant score runs...plus he should hand over the keeping responsibilty to P Patel. Dhoni seems to promote himself in T20 or eg WC final....but here...when the team needs their leader to stand up...he is coming at No 7. LOL. Maybe upcoming CL on flat tracks will help him to bat higher

Wonder what he is doing to improve the fielding!?[/quote'] To improve fielding, they need time and break to have fielding sessions and drills in a camp, you cannot suddenly improve fielding during a tour or get injured while doing this in the practice sessions. These things are done through camps. I would Penny to spend time with U19 boys in camps rather than traveling with Indian team because it does not help once you are in the Indian team. These things start from low level. If a player is not good fielder, he cannot be turned into one as he enters in team. If they are good fielders from under age cricket, then they can be improved more. At international level, coach can only gave them tricks like how to throw in proper way with most power. You cannot turn Munaf, RP, PK, etc to become Raina. Our good fielders are always good. If Munaf, PK< RP had worked with fielding coaches at the low level, they would have been better fielders than what they are now.

Fielding currently is good,problem is bowling when dhoni himself is admitting bowlers are slow why he does not play aaron.
