Cricket_Fan Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Did Finn shoulder pushed Kohli during the match? I didnt watch India's batting fully but my friend was saying Finn pushed Kohli with his shoulder way after the delivery was bowled. Did he do that? If he has done that then India can complain to ICC and ban him for next one match just the way Aussies did to Gambhir. That would be icing on the cake for Finn after the anatomy lessons from Kohli:hysterical:
achilles Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 I don't think thats what happened. Finn abused Gambhir after a first ball four. The over then ended with 16 runs scored by Gambhir and Finn just didn't zip it. Gambhir called the umpire (Tarapore) and asked him to ask Finn to zip it. Finn, at that point off to a location to field, came aggressively towards Virat and Gambhir with Trott closely in tow. Gambhir called Trott over to say something and Virat interjected as well. Trott replied with- "What the feck are you gonna do? Huh?" Virat told him something to which Finn replied something like, "Feck you and your money".
Cricket_Fan Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Thanks Achilles for the detailed explanation.. "Feck you and your money". If I was at the place of Kohli/Gambhir, i would have said " I know you English boys are busy ****ing money, no wonder your wives went for Allen Stanford":finger:
Serani Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Millionaires sledging over who is richer, how embarrasing.
daryl1985 Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Millionaires sledging over who is richer' date=' how embarrasing.[/quote'] England players crying over losing a meaningless ODI is even worse. Man up lads!

If that's really what happened I hope India report this. I'm sick of the hostile treatment our team got during the England tour despite Dhoni's decision to call Bell back and all. I think we have been far too nice and it's about time we hit back.
Pagalpanti Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 ^Exactly what we shouldn't do. Why report, let them act like sore losers.
bajrang Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 yup finn did, then gautam told umpire. finn was talking after every ball.he even pushed dust with his foot towards gauti when gauti was bending down and adjusting something. it was so stupid and childish. kohli also barged in bresnen but they taked it out during final handshake. trott dropped kohli catch after having verbal altercation with him. made himself look like a fool.

If I was at the place of Kohli/Gambhir, i would have said " I know you English boys are busy ****ing money, no wonder your wives went for Allen Stanford":finger: You are welcome, CF. Tried the best to understand what they told each other. Maybe there was more than the "feck" and the "money" to it. Regardless, England need to behave themselves. If that's really what happened I hope India report this. I'm sick of the hostile treatment our team got during the England tour despite Dhoni's decision to call Bell back and all. I think we have been far too nice and it's about time we hit back. Indian players, especially the openers, PK and Raina cope with a lot of "chat". About time they got some back. I must however question their wisdom in taking on Virat relentlessly and ditto with Raina. Also, I see Dhoni far too irritated with the English behaviour. Finn in England made an issue out of Dhoni's running and Cook, Trott, Swann tried to seek explanations from Dhoni as to why he ran runs when the ball deflected off PK in the 1st ODI this series. I don't remember the last time I saw Dhoni so animated.
Pagalpanti Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 ^Dhoni pointed out that in the PC too. MS Dhoni. "Well of course the series in England wasn't a good one for us, but the team showed their character not to lose their temper and still be sociable on the field," I suppose England came here over-confident, at least didn't expect 2 back to back thrashings.
jairamesh Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 It was just nudge to kohli from Finn, to put in a good word for him to Mallya re the upcoming auction Everyone wants the bling bling.
rajmarie Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 I guess...Eng expected the injured India to either lose the games...or rain gods to save Eng ass. Since neither happen...Eng players are irritated. Dont worry...the mini-tour is not over. Hoping India continue Eng punishment.
Dhoni_fan Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 I saw the incident but didnt hear what was said could someone please tell me what Virat said?

Dhoni_fan Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 twitter boundaries Guys don't get me wrong I am all for sledging etc I am from the young generation (as long as it stays not personal) If I was a professional I think I would be similar in my approach to Virat. Anyway much as I can't stand Vaughan and I think Bumble's prediction was arrogant, some of the abuse hurled at them is digusting comments about their dogs and familes and other such vulgar things! It upset me so much I actually tweeted Bumble saying that while his prediction was shocking :p I also think he is an excellent commentator and can only apologise that other "fans" have behaved like this! Just because I dont belief in outright abuse doesnt mean I don't believe in some small mind game! For instance I just tweeted Finn and Bresnan nothing abusive but it said " good try with the verbal today problem is what you guys did is fire up a champion and India were just way too good for you" To me this is just a clever mind game! As if they receive a few tweets like them then come next game it may create doubts in their mind as to how to behave espcially as they are away from home even if their instinct is to sledge! If their indecesion gives my team a little edge then am happy to play those little mind game! But all out personal abuse is not on! What do you guys think?
BERGKAMP Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Bresnan and Finn are getting a bit too lippy. Almost every over they are abusing and chirping away no matter if they bowled a good over or got taken for lots of runs. Loved Kohli giving it back to these chodus both with the bat and mouth.
Sachinism Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Indian fans have been behaving pathetically lately. Its a shame. Though I must say people like Vaughan trolling Indian fans doesn't really help matters.

Totally agree, the tweets I sent Bresnan and Finn I think IMHO are within what is still acceptable good banter, what say?
