He did do that and should have been reported. It was as deliberate as Gauti bumping into Watson for which he got a test ban. But because he is English, he will go away scottfree without even a repirmand as the match ref will conclude 'being aggressive is in their nature'.

I would never ever want hot headed reactions specially in India coz that leads to more controversy and take the focus away from the game, The classic example was what Afridi did in the WC semi-final. He had said so many things in the build-up that he actually had to take time and clarify before the game actually began. That does take a lot of fizz before an important event. And post-England my respect for MSD has grown like anything. It's one thing to be calm when the going is good, but amidst the mayhem and the **** rape, he still kept his calm. I think we are being naive here, thinking the BCCI is all powerful and can do whatever it wants. We seem to be happy about being so powerful but honestly I don't get the feeling that the BCCI are as powerful as we think, had an Indian player done this to a player from England or Australia, he would have definitely been banned for a while. The reality is that the ICC is still biased in favor of these white nations. Just look at how many times England have the spirit of Cricket award, when was the last time an Indian player slapped a player from the opposing team in the nets and called him a fixer? We need to either fight fire with fire or report these incidents. I am disappointed that this hasn't been raised in any of the news channels.

He's great in some respects. No doubt about it. I think he can be a bit more straightforward when commenting on controversy's. I've seen this tendency of him always consciously behaving in a way that is not entirely straightforward. But well, he's the captain. He's won us a Cup. Respect.

I have been tweeting regularly throughout the series, but there has been some unbelievable filth posted on my page. It seems some people took exception to my predictions on this blog last week. I have retweeted some of the bile to expose these people before blocking them. They're the dregs of society and I know the vast majority of India's supporters are embarrassed by it.
