He can score 20 to 30 runs every match and his averages are deceptive. He can't score big 50s or 100s when needed nor does he have the long handle. 25 runs at a strike rate of 75-80 odd will rarely be a match winning effort as an ODI batsman.

Ashwin debuted late.but has been a regular.has played 43 games in 2.5 years since Jaddu has played 60 in 4 years

Cevno Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 Jadeja just doesn't fit the team balance. We are much better with UV/Raina doing the bowling and that balance.
