im not making fun of any one for stupid reason like wrong prediction.. as most of us made fun of him and called him sir not out of respect but in sarcastic way. now,every one is is behaving like outy was the only one against him when he himself said he can do well in shorter formats on suitable conditions. i just dont see point of single out anyone and make fun just bcos of some stupid prediction which came out wrong.

Outy mocks others too, so he made fun of is bit ok I guess :winky: Any way as Maniac mentioned Jadeja will end up as decent all-rounder than the cult figure he is now.

Having said that over all he is a mixed bag,and once this SIR thing dies down,he will be a good-average utility player that's it....not a legend in the making world-beater as we all think he is.Also he will get pwned in South Africa and Tests in Eng.Will be lethal in WI but again even there, they have some incredible power-hitters that he will go for 20+ overs more often than not. Verdict-Jaddu is an average player who enjoys a cult like status and is currently having a decent run, not a world-beater by any means

and about outy mocking are u referring to that kt thread? people mocked him not bcos of wrong prediction but bcos of changing what he thinks about players after every inning.. he is biggest cheer leader of players doing well and as soon as they stop performing he is their biggest enemy :giggle:

cult support means he is getting more hype than he deserves. soon it will die off and he will be rated as player he is.. a good odi cricketer who can bowl accurately and some time hit well at end and ofc a brilliant fielder .. and honestly no body deserves here to get mocked. it will just lead to fights and soon fight will become bigger than discussion and we have all seen how well that ends :wall: also its not just with outy i even noticed people singling out MTC for no reason and yesterday dexter..

I don't know , I rarely enter into these rating games.

he has special potential more with the bat.which means he has to work more harder to master it. with the ball , he has limited variety and hence not much upside potential for too long.

He can be as good as any specialist spinner in SC though. His batting is not as god as his bowling yet even in SC.

90% people here were not giving him much chances. He took them especially the way he batted in first match and gave India the total they could compete. That was for me his biggest contribution in this CT. Regarding bowling, the pitches have been supportive and he has made full use of them with his guile. He has foxed the batsmen. But one series does not make his summer. Even Vijay Bhardwaj was MOS in one ODI series on debut.

To me his bowling is good specially on turners we needed accurate darter and he can bat a bit too

tracks has been okay,nothing SC like dusty tracks.also the conditions are cold which doesnt help spinners. with new rules we need 5 decent bowlers.his bowling+ bit of batting + excellent fielding makes him quite good ODI player imo

Even in India we rarely get dust bowls in odis tracks are like this only ..maybe more helpful but this is hardly bad tracks for spinners .
