:haha: i agree that irfan might be thankful for not being picked today... just imagine how bad the pathetic tenvic brothers look now that they bowled all of four overs each while defending a score of 418!!!! Laanat hai.... they should be ashamed of calling themselves specialist bowlers and leaders and all of that. However, I'm not sure that irfan would have fared much better on this track but this is just plain embarassing for the duo that played.

fletcher prefers bowlers who can bat a bit so maybe sees a place for pathan in future plans. therefore kept pathan and aaron out of squad.

Aight guys, Pathan is back as predicted, bowled decent pace, swing is back, he can only get better from here, above Mithun, VK in my book, action looks good that to on a patta, needs to go to OZ

Irfan bowled well today , nice smoother new action, pace wise 130 to 136 fastest, got swing.He can only improve with more games, Dhoni wake up, do not waste this talent.:yay:

pathan shoud play in place of jaddu with ashwin,pathan as bowling all rounders we can play 5 bowlers with 4 quicks!

One heck of an inning from Pathan against serious pace, he enjoys the faster bowlers, is comfortable with pace, he should also be given a go in test's away from India especially, seems to look better then more established bats against pace, also his bowling is getting better, he is an all rounder we cannot afford to loose, Dhoni he prefers his pets always, maybe IPL will open some eyes.

In Test matches, I don't see Irfan Pathan making a return in the near future. In ODI's his all-round skills bring great value to the team.

Irfan is far better then Angelo in bowling and also has better class as batsmen, he can bowl in mid 130's and swing the red ball, he is comfortable against pace , plays horizontal bat strokes well, not many Indian players can boast of that, simply the capt and selectors are dumb.He in his present form is better then Angelo, can do Watson's job as bowler and can bat also, this guy has the capability to score 50"s and 100"s in test's and take wickets what else do we want, great trier and team man.

It may just be a t20 but last match he bowled well,after along time he seemed to get the zip and his action is much like the pre-2007 action which also has added a bit of pace ,hope he sticks with the action and refines it.

We haven't seen his grip yet, but his pace swing and consistency is back , only needs a bit more confidence to move the ball or slant it away from the same areas and the batsmen will have a difficult time playing him, although normally that is a easier thing for a left handed bowler but maybe he is trying to keep it simple it t20.

Actually that helps his swing,i tried to bowl with that it helps in cutting the ball.

Late swing is more useful and he will be more accurate and quicker with the normal grip. He is certainly losing pace due to that grip.
