That's like your neighbor asking you to the call the cops if you don't like his dog barking all night. We first try to settle things amicably, trying to do what is right. Only when things go out of hand, do we use the report button. Ofc different strokes for different folks.

For one, the word yajna itself is translated to mean "sacrifice" when there is no evidence of any sacrifice ever having been done in any vedic rituals. I guess your view is from the perspective of anti-religion, atheism. My view is more from that of a student of history, and I don't think there is any dispute about the existence of certain humans who were later deified as gods. Maybe if you try to understand the history of the Bharatvarsha civilization for the last 20k years you will see why and how normal human beings were deified (it's nothing new...it happens even today. Sachin is a bloody God and so is Gandhi. Gandhi is considered an avatar of Siva). But what is even more interesting is the early Indologist translations of the Ashwamedha yajna. They translated it to mean a ceremony where the woman of the house has ritualistic anus sex with a horse. These and many other such tactics were the attempts of the Missionary bastards who funded Max Mueller, William Jones, etc for translating sanskrit texts and Indian texts. The missionary bastards of the 18th and 19th centuries have done enough evil to last the next thousand years.
