Number Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 Amazingly steps up his game when its needed badly.
Dravid_TheWall Posted October 14, 2011 Author Posted October 14, 2011 Genuine matchwinner. I do feel in the absence of Sachin, Sehwag and UV our top 4 look vulnerable and I would love to see Raina and Dhoni to bat higher up to score big tons to win games. They are so good at finishing that they never will bat higher up now.
Manny_Pacquiao Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 NOt much of a test player but man, in odis the guy is something else. In my opinion, he is the greatest middle order batsman to have played the game. Just look at his record. He is Michael be van with a power hitting game.
saneindian Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 69, 78*, 50*, 87* 4 consecutive 50s for him! Well done MS. Do this in the next ODI as well and then take a good rest of 2 weeks before the WI tests.
Manny_Pacquiao Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 How come nobody ever talks about him as one of the all time greats? O
Dravid_TheWall Posted October 14, 2011 Author Posted October 14, 2011 He is truly special in this format, difficult to dismiss, capable of milking and destroying a bowling attack. He will go down as one of the greats in ODI history and a pretty safe keeper.

kabira Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 I don't want him to burn out like Bhajji did. He probably can take rest of last 2 weeks somehow, probably skip Windies Tests. sometimes you need to time off from the game, totally 100% off. Being captain of club and country, its difficult for him to think about his own game, improvements etc. Lets give him one full months break, no cricket for him.
