Crookbond Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 We all talk about BCCI wanting to make money but for the ECB too it's "just bloody business".
Moman211 Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 the difference is that the ECB invests in the grass roots and has a world class academy in Loughborough while the BCCI is investing heavily in the IPL while not even bothering with domestic cricket
Crookbond Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 the difference is that the ECB invests in the grass roots and has a world class academy in Loughborough while the BCCI is investing heavily in the IPL while not even bothering with domestic cricket There are such cases in India too like the MRF Pace academy. First Class cricketer salaries have increased in the last 5 years.
Serani Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 There are such cases in India too like the MRF Pace academy. First Class cricketer salaries have increased in the last 5 years. Clearly not working.
Midfielder Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 I think it was more to do with a half fit Indian team rather than the brilliance of the English team. You guys are good but world beaters, absolutely not.
Serani Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 wha wha wha, being half fit seems to be ingrained in the indian psyche, no wonder your still a third world country.
rahulrulezz Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 I think it was more to do with a half fit Indian team rather than the brilliance of the English team. You guys are good but world beaters' date=' absolutely not.[/quote'] stop whining and start giving some credit
Moman211 Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 wha wha wha' date=' being half fit seems to be ingrained in the indian psyche, no wonder your still a third world country.[/quote'] now come on dude thats a bit too far:headshake:
Crookbond Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 Clearly not working. Your cricketing knowledge is clearly more than the above troll comment. What works and what's not isn't a function of a series or two results. I guess you can appreciate that fact especially after supporting a team who's trying to find a winning (forget being no. 1 formula) after 30 years of playing and 150 years of inventing the game.
Cricket Tragic Posted August 28, 2011 Author Posted August 28, 2011 Oh FFS, this thread was to inform the English fans about the DVD and not for another retarded debate.

Speaking of troll comments, you started it. Shame your ability to take back what you dish out is on par with your cricketing knowledge, ie zero :finger:
vvvslaxman Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 For the first time they celebrate about something other than Ashes which is good thing. It is always good for other teams to have a challenge. Australia used to be a great challenge for 10 years. Biggest challenge for England would be how they perform in subcontinent. If they don't do well in SL and India like Australia they cannot be considered as good as they were.
Number Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 wha wha wha' date=' being half fit seems to be ingrained in the indian psyche, no wonder your still a third world country.[/quote'] Indian side was half-fit , but England would've won against a fully fit side as well. But just because some Indian fans are not praising your team , you start calling Indian psyche this and that and third world country. Don't act like an insecure kid. Even in your first world , there may be some people saying the same thing.
Robelinda Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 The ECB has released many many series dvd's over the past 6 or 7 years, this one is not unique or a one off money maker. From memory you can still by England dvd's from these seasons- 04/05 vs SA, 2005 Ashes, 2006 vs Pakistan, 2007, 2008 vs SA, 2009 Ashes, 2010/11 Ashes. Look on cricshop, tons of England dvd's available.
Rahul Dravid Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 wha wha wha' date=' being half fit seems to be ingrained in the indian psyche, no wonder your still a third world country.[/quote'] ouch.

flamy Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 Why is a third world country an insult lol? Next, southern hemisphere will be an insult.
