Cheers I'm wondering now if he was actually dropped from the test team. Hopefully the selectors realised that he isn't good enough and dropped him. Otherwise we could see him making yet another comeback into the test side. :facepalm:

I feel he'll be useless even in the opening slot as well as behind the stumps. Lets hope they play him at no. 7.

GG didn't open in the last series letting PP and Rahane open. Perhaps Viru will open with PP, GG at 3, Kohli 4, Rohit 5, Raina 6 and Jadeja 7

Aaron instead of vinay and rest the same. gambhir should have been the captain though.

Utappa should have been given a chance ahead of Parthiv , Nacheem should have been tried instead of Vinay Kumar and Sehwag should have e been rested with Gambhir being the captain. Also if Sehwag and Parthiv are being openers and Rahane is being a back up then why is he selected? Surely playing in Ranji trophy is better preparation for Rahane than sitting on the bench in ODIs?
