I will like both these bowlers to be part of the team (whether they both get a game or not). Being with the team will improve their bowling IMO. Also the Indian bowling coach can work with both & help them improve also

FFS we've waited years to find some real speedsters now this stupid hesitancy!!, we'll need to pick both, as well as Ishant, for Oz , meantime rotate them against WI ,pray that Zak and Irfan will hopefully get going in time to push for Oz inclusion . On hard bouncy pitches the youngsters may be our best weapon . We've little else( Mithun leaves me cold despite the best physical conditioning of any Indian I've seen on a cricket field ) , it's a no brainer, really , it is !!!!! Other than that what's happened to Sudeep Tyagi , surely he's back from injury , don't tell me he's gone the way of all other prior pacers in the last decade!! The emergence of Ashwin and Jadeja will take some pressure off our streched spin dept., as the Turbanator, despite always saving his best for the Aussies , would be best not left to be our only spin option Packing the batting by picking say Irfan and Ashwin /Jadeja may seem cowardly , but it's no more than Indian teams in the past have done . It will let us pick untried ( in Oz , or indeed anywhere outside India to date )speedsters and aggresive batters so it's not ultra defensive Frankly I don't see any other options that are not just as fraught and ultra cautious, or even just obviously better. It's not unknown for youngsters to have an epochal breakthrough career defining debut overseas tour . We need to think for the future , an Aussie Baptism of Fire is preferable to a meek capitulation with ageing eve of retirement set of seniors . If we can sort India's bowling future in Oz then batting wise we can phase in Kohli Rahane and Pujara in future tests after that Two years in transition During which time we can be @ least in the Top 3 in tests, better than that in the other formats and possibly holding both the World cups for t20 and 50 over forms ( even the ICC Champions trophy if that comes about) Anyway I'm so concerned for the future viability for tests , that India's success takes second place to keeping interest alive in other nations, for the good of the game ( think about a future without a Pakistan team for example ) We unleashed the enfant terrible of the IPL on the world , can we really bemoan our fate !!

Actually I think you are right. Not sure why we are pussy footing around. We need to play both against windies, lets get on with it.
