Dhoni_fan Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 In 2009 I was at Lord's for the Twenty20 world cup and saw the finals which Pakistan won! When Pakistan fans saw my friends and I were Indian, they chanted right in our face all the way on the tube home "are you watching are you watching are you watching India"? Whille I did not begrudge them their celerbration that moment really hurt me, as an Indian to have to take that from the Paks was very very hard. It was an image that will always stay with me, they also had chants about all our top players. Now three of their top players all in jail their cricket is in crisis, while we are World Champions. A nation where all countries want to come to and play plus play the IPL! Who wants to play in Pakistan? Are you watching are you watching? are you watching Pakistan!

singhprakash72 Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 I got some Pakistani friends here in US but never had any issue ever. Infact after WC win my SL and Pak friends were first ones to call and congratulate. But I don't hear too many good things from my Indian friends in UK...may be its culture embbeded there from early immigrants plus level of competition is taken too seriously there.

Yoda-esque Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 I feel sorry for their genuine fans..Why gloat now?
Dhoni_fan Posted November 3, 2011 Author Posted November 3, 2011 I feel sorry for their genuine fans..Why gloat now? This is not aimed at their genuine fans it is aimed at the ones who take great pride in rubbing our noses it rather than being humble in victory or defeat they always look to trash talk us! Well guess what? The biggest Cricket fiasco and it is they who are responsible for it! Why not gloat, getting rid of cheats is a good day for our sport.
singhprakash72 Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 I feel sorry for their genuine fans..Why gloat now? Same here...and throwing a few under the bus will not solve this perenial issue with Pakistan cricket, it needs huge shift in mentality of players, administrators and public. Apart from fixing issue, they somehow mange to have a perpetual circus going on (fake retirements, player shuffles,PCB mess etc)...and if you ever think now they are getting better.... they drop a bombshell.
Texy Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 Look at the general consensus .....India is to be blamed for this....bookmakers are Indians...Why can't ICC catch Indians....our players are innocent and India is behind this....India wants to destroy our cricket ..........hardly anyone blames their own players and always point fingers at others esp India...and similar views are expressed when there is a major terrorist bombing as well. I don't feel the slightest sorrow for their players or their fans

ganeshran Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 Frankly' date='he has lost all credibility now[/quote'] He never had any credibility to begin with. Just a cheerleader trying to rile people up. But his comment is definitely funny
