Most impressive part apart from many other things is how close to the body he plays and very steady head throughout shot execution. Most definitely the next big thing. Given he lacks the gift of power, he may not succeed in T20 but a very good prospect in ODIs and Tests.

BeautifulGame Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 Today he got hit off a RP singh bouncer and had to be treated for few minutes.Then again RP singh bowled a bouncer very next ball but he was ready for it and pulled it quickly but along the ground with lot of confidence. Seems very confident in his abilities.

BeautifulGame Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 The problem was Bouncer didnt bounce as much as expected from a new ball.He was swaying away but the ball bounced less and hit him on the underside of the helmet. Also RP was bowling really well today and swinging the new ball appreciably so not sure why it is worrying.
