where?? in your dreams ?? i saw the match' date=' nuwan pradeep was bowling faster then gul. and being cleaver posting WI stats when asked for AUS stats. ishant wasnt bowling fast until umesh came.[/quote'] Umar Gul to Dilshan, no run, back of a length, 145.1 kph, but without movement, sits up and is defended without trouble Umar Gul to DPMD Jayawardene, no run, lot more effort into this back of a length ball from Gul, at 142 kph, it bounces sharply outside off, Mahela does not have enough width to cut, goes for the shot, and is beaten by the carry Umar Gul to DPMD Jayawardene, no run, 143 kph now, back of a length again, coming in a bit, Mahela rides the bounce, and defends Umar Gul to DPMD Jayawardene, no run, Mahela is pegged on the crease, this one was not that short, at 144 kph, but he shuffles across, stays back and blocks on top of the bounce Umar Gul to Sangakkara, no run, this one is clocked at 150.2 kph, pitched up for the drive, Sanga mistimes it towards mid off

Pakistan's bowling attack is the worst I have seen in 3 decades, no world class fast bowlers,Wahab, Umar are decent F Medium bowlers but not the same class as Waqar, Waseem, Akhtar, even Aquib.Indian bowlers right now are in a different league as fast as SA AND AUS, Ishant, Aaron, Umesh all bowl 140 to 150 easily in most spells, Shami, Sreesanth, Zak, Munaf Awana, Dinda can all touch 140 also as backup bowlers.

He will never be a world class bowler.

I am not to worried about lack of world class fast bowler i am sure there will be 1 who will come through from the u19 team or the national talent hunt which is currently ongoing. we just lost amir and asif so we just have to be patient.

Any one who says a 132-137k bowler a trundler needs their brains to be checked. The model trundler is Kulasekara, bowling 120-130k range. Praveen Kumar, Bangladesh faster men, Copeland and Tsotsobe at times can be given as examples. Gul and Junaid are bit too quick to become trundlers.

lol i rate him higher then asif honestly even adrerson since his comeback against nz has bowled quite beautifully even steyn said the way he bowled against india he might be no 1 bowler specially how he bowled against sachin he is quite deadly in good conditions and all right in sub ocntinent (he did well in abu dhabi and sri lanka ) asif wicked like 2 wickets in 2 tests against south africa at home...

these guys zaheer khan, morkel and anderson are good bowler but not in the same class as asif, steyn etc. averaging under 25 for a shady character is pretty awesome.

lol it was pretty short career 23 matches...also anderson would be averaging quite similar ever since his come back even morkel improved a lot plz just dont look at stats anderson is averaging 23 in last 2 years... morkel is averaging 26 i think in last 3 years and he is still improving some bowlers start slow but right now andersons is bowling at similar if not better level then asif

without looking at stats you can see that asif is a better bowler than the 2 you mentioned. these bowler anderson etc improved through hard work etc but asif had the natural talent in his wrist could make the ball talk like no one else.

lol....all bowlers dont mature at equal rate.. well he had talent but it does not mtters wht matters is application and also u said right now world class bowlers produced.. if anderson is bringing in similar or better results then asif and winning matches then only tht thing matters nothing else who cares weather results are coming through talent or hard work.. in the end anderson is as effective as asif.. also anderson too is talented in many diff ways he was just wayward before he can swing, seam and also plan very well then if pace is needed he can step it up as well unlike asif
