The tracking of Darty in the domestic season

Sadly for Harbhajan you can just imagine domestic teams finding him way too easy to play. His is not a case to be cured by a Ranji season. He needs to some serious modifications of approach - bowling and mindset - and to snap out of thinking that he has been wronged. This thread will tell a sorry statistical tale by the end of it.

Well I didn't mean it be a funny comment. I watched his bowling in previous match. Batsmen were extra careful against him and trying to make sure that they don't give him wickets. It would be even more difficult for him if batsmen adopt this approach and since they are decent player of spin, Bhajji would have to work harder to take wickets.
This whole debate that he doesn't get wicket cuz batsman play him carefully is bogus imo. In fact a spinner has more chance when batsman are defensive. It creates chances of lbw, bat-pad catches, slip catch. But then Harbhajan will have to actually spin a ball.

One just realizes how much of a traveller, a drag on our meagre bowling resources he has been in test cricket in the last few years :( However his batting has been quite the opposite and has bailed us out of a lot of tough situations. Wonder whether selectors would decide to overlook him in ODIs as well, planning for the next world cup, as by then he'd be 34-35.

35 is not old for a spinner. Bhajji sucks at tests, but in ODI he is still very economical and can bat so maybe could be in the ODI squad still. However, Ashwin takes wickets in ODI's so bhajji is no longer the number 1 spinner.

He shouldn't be. Bhajji was outbowled by Yuvraj in the WC and with Ashwin and Jadeja performing pretty well in odis, his days are over in the shorter format as well.

Especially considering Ashwin's a wicket taker as well. 35 is not retirement age for a spinner who is indispensably good. But sadly Bhajji at the moment isn't.

I have a feeling Bhajji might sneak his way in to Australia based on previous performances....Hell if RP Singh can then bhajji can surely if god forbid there is any kind of an issue with Ash or Ojha

Impossible. And not as if he has a truckload of success bowling in Australia either. Heck couldn't even purchase wickets in Sydney where a guy like Clarke ran amok. Didn't play at Perth which we actually went on to win :|
