Finisher? It was another useless inning played with no pressure. Sehwag scored quickly to ease off the pressure and it was Laxman who finished the game. Sachin never wins a game on his own. :headshake: He was playing for his record and you could see that in his game. :cantstop:

They are constantly mentioning how unfortunately he missed his 100th 100. Come on, it was a very good inning that too in 4th inning in tough situation. Stop reacting in same way as we do to other players when they get out in 20s. Oh he got start but couldn't convert it. :facepalm:

I think about 20 odd. Would love to be proved wrong though. Funny thing with SRT fanatics (or S=G types if you will) is whenever they are asked for a predication, they either dodge the question or attack the poster. Why so little faith in the revered one?

There is a reason why trolls like these succeed with such posts. If I choose any batsman in the world, what is the probabilty that he will make a good score in any one chosen match? Very low obviously. Even a batsman like Sachin or dravid make a good score once ever 4-5 matches, that too in one innings. So the probabilty of them scoring in one chosen innings is less than 10%. So, apart from few exceptions (like this match), the odds are on the troll's side as a batsman is much more likely to fail in one chosen innings than succeed. So the odds are 9 to 1 for the trolls. I am glad this is one of the few times it failed and we can laugh at him

no. It is much more than that. If you consider any 50+ score as good score. out of 298 innings SRT has 112 50+ innings - that is about 37.5%, or roughly once out of 2.66 innings. But it still is significantly less than 50%, the break even point for haters vs others.

And of the contemporaries, Kallis is marginally better ( 38%)..Ponting marginally lower (36%), and Sangakara almost equal (37.5%).. and of all the people only DGB is an isolated freak.. 52% times crossing 50+!!
