yes that my be the case. With a fit Zaheer Ishant and PK,these two fast bowlers may not get a chance in Aus.Unless they do something splendid in the mean time. Your Views.
is there a restriction on squad size?

That would only mean the three first choice seamers doing the job for us in 4 tests of the series. Doesn't sound as bad. Both Umesh and Varun will offer a great choice to the team management in case any of them suffers a loss of form/fitness. Also, it will be their first tour outside India. It will be foolish to expect them to do some miracle for us. end of the day the fate of that tour is with our batsmen. They consistently score 400+ and we will come back with a positive result.

I for one will want Yadav or Varun in place of Ishant or PK..........Zaheer will probable play 4 1st class matches before boxing day...so i think he will be fit and fine. But we need some one with extra pace like Aaron or Yadav to push the batsman back on those pitches.......

I see nothing wrong with that' date='Yadav and Varun have to earn their chops and they have to show something in the next 2 tests.[/quote'] If Aaron and Yadav have to earn theirs on Indian soil same should be the case with PK..........he shouldnt be picked on his performances in ENG and WI.

they will be our 4th and 5th choice pacers for sure. I don't know how many pacers will be there in the squad. may be 4 pacers and 2 spinners.
I dont see them being dropped from the squad altogether.16 man squad 7 bowlers 9 batsman.....thats it i think.

The selectors have done the right thing. Testing PK in Eng & WI (which are relatively better bowling conditions). And he has been the standout performer.

I am not sure you are being serious here.are you saying that PK will fail and perform worse than Yadav did against a team he had great success in WI?

And Yadav and Aaron have to perform on worse conditions and then their performances compared? Is that fair?

Yes,PK will fail in most places where there is not much in the pitch or no swing in air.......he has little pace and he doesnt reverse the ball either. So he will be pretty useless in places like India.....and his performances in UK and WI will be compared to Yadav and Aaron's performances in India.

i think you are wrong.PK's record in India indicates that, atleast he would have been more effective than Yadav and Ishant did in that test.

vinay kumar got his chances abroad and the results are pretty bad. These Tests are in australia and i have no doubt that PK will be among the wickets.Yadav will probably be in the squad(unless he is injured) and will be the next in line if there is an injury and that is a distinct possibilty with Ishant and Zak playing.

I still hope Yadav or Aaron play as one of the 3 front line bowlers..........fingers crossed on that.

Praveen has proved previously on Indian pitches. Now, since he has performed well abroad and the next tour is down under obviously he gets a deserved go ahead of these two new bowlers. He can be an effective 3rd seamer in those pitches. All depends on how Ishant performs in both these tests against WI. If he ain't picking wickets then my choice for Australia would be Zak, Umesh & PK.

And what's wrong about that - Zaheer' date=' Ishant, and Praveen our the three best test bowlers from India at the moment?[/quote'] some people hate pk because he's not phaaaaaaaaast.
