Dravid_TheWall Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 Ayurvedic treatment started or not? :giggle: Lot of modern medicine is based on ancient hindu knowledge. It clearly helps him.

Dravid_TheWall Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 A lot of the clincial trials you have for medicine in the UK, i.e evidence based medicine, have shown that particular plants and herbs used in Ayurveda are beneficial. Of course there is a lot of garbage too, but discounting all of eastern medicine would be foolish and would certainly go against the pracitise of evidence based medicine itself.
Number Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 Would be funny if he broke down during the Aus tour :hehe: So an injury to a player is funny ??
Dravid_TheWall Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 So an injury to a player is funny ?? When they delay surgery due to selfish reasons, yes :two_thumbs_up: Anyway dekho MS ka innings :yay:
King Tendulkar Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 I believe Ishant. Surgery is always last option. I have suffered ankle injuries in sport, as advised ankle surgery was last resort. Instead was giving intense physio to strenghthen and keep flexible. It worked and was best way. For some reason everyone thinks Ishant is lieing:hysterical: Am sure everything he is doing and then saying is exactly as precribed by some of best sport medical people in world. yet residnt experts here think they know better:cantstop:

King Tendulkar Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 We just hope he is fit and ur correct else :aggressive: Well am sure he is getting best medical advice possible. People seem to think with all injuries that sticking them under knife is best option when often it is not. Its like you need a small filling and going sod it need to make sure its ok and getting tooth totally pulled out and getting implant put in. Surgery is best avoided as ankle may be strong but you lose flexibilty and may cause further problems and not even solve issue. He would have to do laods of physio afterwards anyway. So clearly best option is do laoids of physio now on ankle, if its still not ok then do surgery. No need to rush on surgery, that option is not going anywhere
Dravid_TheWall Posted November 15, 2011 Posted November 15, 2011 MS even bowled Yadav today before Sharma who didn't even get an over! Surely he should be "spearhead" or "go to man" after 4 years.
achilles Posted November 15, 2011 Posted November 15, 2011 Isn't it strange that with Umesh and Aaron making a mark an impressing one and all, Ishant has mysteriously seemed to have cured his ankle trouble?
King Tendulkar Posted November 15, 2011 Posted November 15, 2011 Isn't it strange that with Umesh and Aaron making a mark an impressing one and all' date=' Ishant has mysteriously seemed to have cured his ankle trouble?[/quote'] And upped his pace:giggle:
achilles Posted November 15, 2011 Posted November 15, 2011 And upped his pace:giggle: That too. Whats next? Vinay Koomar bowling 160ks
MCcricket Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 I believe Ishant. Surgery is always last option. I have suffered ankle injuries in sport, as advised ankle surgery was last resort. Once he bowls the in between length regularly, fullish good length and then alternates to his regular length, he will be more successful,he can seam , reverse,he is a trier,it is hard for taller guys to bowl outside their natural length , same for Morkel, once they get that sorted,Finn, Cummin seem to be two bowlers that are tall and bowl fuller hence more successful, threatening.Ishant's go to or stock ball which is short of length angling in , also seaming in,is more effective in bouncier conditions,on flat decks he has to strategies and look for a fuller length delivery as a stock ball, he seems to be improving , bowled quite well yesterday.
MCcricket Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 To all Ishant haters, just look at his spells in this test match , his pace, aggression, he could be valuable asset to any team, also 2 nd highest wicket taker this year in test's.
Manny_Pacquiao Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 yaar yeh ISHANK stump pe kyoon nahi phekta, bada ishytle jhaad raha hai par vicket nahi nikaal raha ek do bouncer wouncer phek na, shayad usko thoda doodh pilana chahiye malai maar ke..tab toh pace badh jayega 140 kmph se 150 kmph tak
Viki_J Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 The lay off is a long time. For Australia series its worth it. Thats where he found his success and return to it later this yr. Delay will make his health worse..:(( ...why is he doing this :hmmm: he should not take such chances:doh:
ganeshran Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 The management is denying that Ishant had an injury. Difficult to trust them after the Zak fiasco last time
Clarke Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 An Indian team official explained that Ishant had only planned to deliver six overs for the day, and when his ankle strapping came loose before it was concluded, he felt no need to return. :fail:
akshayxyz Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 planned to deliver 6 overs!!.. what a fit athlete
