The same guy refused MSD's request of cutting down grass for the 2nd test vs SA, but we went on to win that test. Let him roll out any type of wicket, we would still win. If its a grassy track, we have the option of going with 3 seamers.
would be good to see how the new guys bowl on a pitch that helps them.

Dropping him just like that will be a blow to his confidence. I don't think there should be any change in the team, probably only 1 change is possible Kohli for Yuvraj.

If he fails again, there is a slight chance he might be dropped for the final Test, but even then, I doubt it.

Only change to be made for Eden test is as follows: Rahane in for Yuvraj. Win Eden test and the following change should be made for 3rd test: Aaron in for Yadav, Rahul Sharma in for Ravi Ashwin so he can spend some time with his wife, Kohli in for Dhoni and GG captain and Rahul Dravid wicketkeeper.

I hope the idiot curator at Kolkata doesnt give a green top to Edwards and co.
In India, if there is a grassy wicket, then that does not mean that it is going to be pace bowlers paradise. Instead it does helps to bind the wicket for long period like 5 days and it won't break. I don't see anything wrong in greenish track instead love to see 1. And hope India will play all 3 fast bowlers.

Umesh. You yourself said he hasn't done anything wrong, then why pick Aaron. We can't play musical chairs here. I agree with Kabira, same XI for me as well.

Grassy pitch in India is bad idea. Simply it will have juice only for 1st day max. Once sun beats down, all the juice is gone and it becomes patta.

And the type of grass youre talking about is mostly used for Kotla pitch to bind it together and that is dead brown grass not green grass.Green grass on any pitch will help the pacers irrerspective of which country the game is being played at.
