Should we go with three spinners in Eden Gardens? Well, we have seen that 16 out of 20 wickets have been taken by the spinners in Delhi. Kokota has always been spinner's paradise historically, coupled with the fact that Caribbeans are poor players of spin ( except chanders) and it makes more sense to go in with three genuine spinners rather than 2+2 combination. Give a chance to Rahul Sharma at the expense of one of the pacer.

Yuvi and Sehwag rarely bowl in tests, also Yuvi is doubtful to play next test. More than that Rahul Sharma with his leg break adds a good variety to bowling lineup. It is not the first time we go with three spinners, mid-90's we used to play with three spinners in Kumble, Raju and Chauhan regularly too.

Eden track does help swing and seam atleast in first session. The thing is Kotla pitch wasn't big turner. Did not have extra bite, even then Ashwin and Ojha bamboozled windies. Windies have inexperience batting line up and they will struggle to play spin even on true belters.

Will pitch have enough help for 3 spinners? When was the last time we played with 3-1 combination? Mumbai 2004? Did we ever went with such combination after that? Pitch has to be a square turner from day 1 for 3 spinners, otherwise 2-2 is enough.
