Sachin=GOD Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Few points and this goes for Rett too 1) Win and loss depend on lots of factors. 3 of Dravods finest innigns went into losses in England. for no fault of his. That you are not factoring these innings in Dravid's average shows the futility of your numbers Citing team performances while comparing players = lack of IQ and common sense 2) we are not the only ones proping him. Most experts in the world, ex and current players, every critic all place him higher than those and compare him to Bradman. That you still try to bring him down just to prove a point shows your true face. An Indian is thougth to be the best or second best ever even by neutrals but you cant stand that 3) Finally its clear to all thats its not about Laxman or Dravid or Sehwag. Its not about any of those players and its clear you are not fans of any of them. We have fans of both these players here and sometimes, they do rightly point out that they dont get enough credit and are over-shadowed by Sachin. But you are not one of them. All you have is a one point agenda to prove that Sachin is not as good as his fans think. You are ready to take the name of any of those players to suit your agenda. You will support Ponting, Lara or Viv if they are put against Sachin. You are fan of no player 4) Also, I am pretty sure if tomorrow Dravid or Laxman get enough praise, like Sachin has been getting for years, you will be tearing into them and trying to bring them down. You will then take the name of other upcoming players, Indian or otherwise to demean their contributions. How can an Indian rise above his peers? How can an Indian be considered good at a world stage? We should be humble and modest and be within our means. Bradman is the greatest and so is Lara. What an Indian achieves is ordinary and anyone else from his team can do the same Nail.On.The.Head

Not everyone has to beat the drum as hard like some of you here and get all testy when others opine that RD, VVS etc are as good as SRT as batsmen. RD and VVS are as good as SRT and they have proved that.

pensionplan Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 okTrivia for you :-) What are the averages for Ponting, Richards, Tendulkar in WC finals and how many tons did each one score in the biggest One day game of them all?
Sachinism Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Trivia for you :-) What are the averages for Ponting, Richards, Tendulkar in WC finals and how many tons did each one score in the biggest One day game of them all? So in a thread about runs in SA, you bring up WC finals as the new benchmark. Great going :two_thumbs_up:
pensionplan Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 So in a thread about runs in SA, you bring up WC finals as the new benchmark. Great going :two_thumbs_up:I learnt it from you guys on how to sabotage the threads. All I need to do now is open more meaningless threads in the lines of 'Suckdan' as Rett would want to type his moniker which by the way would be a honest mistake. :-)

Your meaningless posts would be ideal for a meaningless thread

[b']RD and VVS are as good as SRT and they have proved that. You have not answered the points in my thread. Also by using similar tactics as you, part of the career, win% etc, Pakistanis have also managed to prove that Inzamam is greater than any Indian batsmen ever.

RD and VVS are as good as SRT. If you do not like it too bad. I am sure you are the type that thinks SRT's 5 test hundreds versus BD are as good as VVS's 281 at the Eden or RD's 233 at Adelaide.
Sid Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Thread might fall flat on its face. :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: OP is known for that, last time he created a thread about Dhoni's awesome test record as captain and next thing that happened was 4-0 disaster.
pensionplan Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 On another note what a jack ass thread this has turned out to be. If you want to sing praises of each and everything about Tendulkar atleast wait till the things play out and take their course. Now Tendulkar will never be able to average more than RP in SA and look who had the last laugh.

Here his name is Sehwag. :cantstop:

I am glad being wrong when I know that most of the critics, current and ex-players, experts of the game are all on the wrong side with me and Only Rett and SRT'sclosetfan is on the right side Plus I am not kidding, using your tactics I can certainly prove than Inzi is one of the best test bats to ever grace the game and ahead of most

You're fine as long as you bash him.
