The international travelers would spend more money and like the lifestyle. In addition, they would not complain. A conservative person would disturb a fun environment and also disturb the lavish atmosphere. So, maybe that is the reason. BTW Malaysia has three main races/communities. The largest are the local Malays but they are not as powerful financially. Second largest is the Chinese community who are the most powerful community in terms of Per capita etc. Some of the regions are also Chinese majority regions. Third is the Indian community but they are also not much powerful except for people like Tony Fernandes who is one of the most popular guys in Malaysia and owns Air Asia, hotel lines and loads of other things including their F1 team. He is also actively supported by their king and govt. which is one of the reasons of their success. However Tony Fernandes is more of an Indian origin and is a first or second generation Indian origin I suppose as his dad was from Goa I suppose. But overall Chinese are the most financially powerful community in Malaysia and most of the richest people in Malaysia are from that Community. There is another Indian/South Asian/Tamil origin Malaysian who is also very rich I suppose and he is also the majority owner of Indian company Aircel. However, he is not as high profile, flamboyant or popular as Tony.

Somebody bombed it recently, not for that reason though. Never seen this. I keep going to Pune regularly. Might have gone to German bakery for the first time in the late 90s/early 2000s. Saw nothing of what you say. How long ago is your 'long time ago'? Osho Ashram, near the German bakery was a foreigner only thing for many years. But now they admit Indians also. Are you confusing the two?

Cant tell the name but will tell you this: The manager was barking orders at the hotel staff (who were dark skinned by the way) whilst he was chatting with the female foreign nationals and trying to get a peak at their cleavage. I was like, okey ... ignore and keep walking :creep:

I had once from an In and out stores in South Delhi. It was around 2 in the morning and we had no other option.150+ for a tinycup if I remember it correctly...tastes nice tho

Passports are obtained/discarded for convenience. It has nothing to do with the "Indian"ness of a person. You could have a person with Indian passport hating anything Indian and another who was born abroad who cherishes his Indian roots more than even some of those living in India.

India's best hotel (The Taj) was built because the British had signs that said "Indians and Dogs Not Allowed"

Of course they had to change policy but I have no idea how they even went on for some years with such a board
