They opened a restaraunt in an area where (Malaysian) Indians were the major ethinicity but did not let Indians in. Thats the irony. On the other hand, Malaysian Indians have been dishing out racist abuse to others for a long time. About time they felt what it was like to be on the receiving end of some racist abuse themselves. This is the first time I have heard that. Malaysian Indians or ethnic Indians/Tamils are pretty well discriminated against by the local Muslim Malays. Temples burnt/destroyed and cows slaughtered in front of temples etc. So a lot of abuse from MIs is in retaliation.

Some of the worst racial discrimination I have personally witnessed was done by Indians onto other Indians because they were of a different caste, darker skin color, from an offshot religious stream etc. Not going to support the guy inflicting the racism just because he is Indian.

It's not for the sake of tourism, it's because of the majority rule that the minorites are fearing and not letting it blow up like tamil issue in Srilanka.

They destroy the hindu temples and the Indians retaliate in return. Its suspected not letting Indians in to this hotel was a tit - for - tat response of Indians not allowing local Malays in.
