ali0786
The bowling avg of Afridi and Hafeez are 33+ Only Ajmal is a good bowler. Good performance today.............But powerhouse...........:rofl: No point of looking at overall averages. Afridi never started off as a bowler, only in the last 4-5 years he has become a bowling all rounder, I'm sure his Avg in past 4-5 years is much better. This year Afridi averages 19.16 with the ball. Utalk
What powerhouse yaar our pace bowling is at its worst in last 30 years. When I started folllowing cricket we had Imran who to me was the best fast bowler we produced by a mile. Qadir was going strong. Then Akram emerged as a true left arm fast bowler.Within three four years we had Waqar and Aaqib come through. Ata ur rehman was an exciting quickie. 95-97 we saw Zahid ,Saqlain and Akhtar come on the scene whilst Ws were still going strong. Even post 03 Sami was seen as a special talent who could bowl at 150k+.Its a shame he did not have brains to go with pace. Asif was one of its kind and with Aamir could have been lethal but for...... Now we have a good limited overs pacer in Gul who is average as a test bowler with an unproven Junaid and inconsistent Riaz. There is no one in FC cricket who excites me. Our spinners are quality in ODIs but in test cricket we are crying out for a leggie. Raza Hasan the left arm spinner is the only exciting bowling talent who excites me and should feature soon.
