That Motera pitch against Lanka (1st Test 2009) was as flat. But at least there was some movement on the 1st day.

Will it be a record? If WI come out to bat tomorrow, will that be the first time a team has batted into the 3rd day of a Test (while batting first)? (Taking into consideration Tests with fully completed first two days)

Didn't India bat bat on 3rd day at Sydney (705-7, sachin 241) India was 650-5 at the end of day 2 IIRC.

We batted on days 1,2 and parts of day 3 at, Leeds (2002) St. John's (2002) and also at Sydney in 2004.

Not even close. Not sure about the criteria of completed 2 days. But here are the the maximum number of overs faced by a team batting first. Windies have only faced 181 overs till now

bad yes worst no what made it look so bad were the expectation in hindustan times this was the headline before match mumbai pitches is right... even commentators were shocked after day one i think mohali wicket is good more wickets hsould be like it by no means it is bowler friendly but there is always bounce lil bit movement and we all say how exciting matches can get there(aus vs india)
