And not that MS has criticised only Sree. Here are 2 examples: 1) during WC, he said tha Indian players should stop playing for the crowds. There were rumours that this was directed more so with the way UV had got out. 2) After Yusuf's dismal performances, he had forthrightedly said that players should not be selected on the basis of their performances in T20. There is no double standards from MS. IT's just that he speaks so many words that it seems he's diplomatic, while VS is lazy enough to say that much :winky:

But not even the bluntest of Captain will/should name players in front of camera and media. Its not going to help the player in anyway and will demotivate him. I did not miss what you are saying....I understand that on public stage a leader has to back up his team. But it was not the case here, IMO Sehwag did not criticize or pointed fingers, he just stated the facts that were there for every one to see. I am fairly sure, even if he were the only one to play loose shot, he would have mentioned his own name.

Pretty easy to lose confidence and be demoralised when blamed by one's idol and also in front of the world media he named gambhir and raina... and they are by no ways newbies or struggling for their place in the team and about parthiv patel... no sympathies for him..he is just a trundler who after so many oppourtunities is a bigger failure than irfan and bhajji
