zen Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 Btw, films I liked Sunny performance in Betaab Gadar Arjun Ghayal Ghatak Soni Mahiwal Tridev (though Nassir stole the show) Damini More than his performances in action films, I like his role in Betaab the most, esp. that entry w/ that guitar piece playing!

But I saw Ghatak (had missed it when it was released) and have to admit he has some talent of his dad. He has acted well and is loud and believable.

He has acted well and is loud and believable. Ghatak was good. Daminin was great. Sunny's genre - action movies - hardly requires a lot of acting capability. This is as true for Bollywood, as it is for Hollywood. However folks like Sunny Deol did manage to spring up some good acting, Arjun, Dacait, Sunny, Damini etc. However his USP was always that of a macho man and thats what he filled completely. For folks of my generation Sunny Deol's entry in movies, often walking in to save a hapless man or woman with a mukka was reason enough to beleive all was well with the world :haha: Dharmendra was different of course. He was more at home doing comedy than he was doing action perhaps...and thats saying something.
