Asim
Team Match Won Lost Tied NR W/L Pakistan 31 23 7 0 1 3.28 Australia 25 18 6 0 1 3 India 31 19 9 2 1 2.11 South Africa 15 9 6 0 0 1.5 New Zealand 17 9 7 0 1 1.28 Sri Lanka 28 14 12 0 2 1.16 England 30 11 16 2 1 0.68 West Indies 25 9 15 0 1 0.6 Zimbabwe 17 6 11 0 0 0.54 Bangladesh 19 6 13 0 0 0.46 Match fixing scandels, teams internal management issues, retirements, un-retirements, bans, changings of captains & coaches, judicial enquiries, jail sentences to players BUT... Despite all controversies, Paksitani team is the most successful ODI team of 2011. Yes, we mostly played against less stronger teams like WI, Zim, BD but beating NZ in NZ, qualifying for WC Semi Final, beating SL and most importantly not loosing any ODI series are the highlights of the year... Few very important and consistant performances by Pakistani Players. In batting: Hafeez, Misbah, Umar Akmal & Younis Khan are so far among top 15 most runs scoring players... Similarly in bowling Afridi, Ajmal, Hafeez and Gul performed consistantly and so far among top 15 ODI wicket takers :two_thumbs_up: Congratulations to Pakistan, Pakistani Team and Pakistani Cricket Fans and Best Wishes for 2012... saneindian
Perfect example of how even a loss against a future WC winning team can lift a team :P Congrats to the Pakistani fans though. Who knows 20 years from now, Misbah will be exhorting pakistanis for a change in system and would be a PM candidate. Link to comment

Magneto
PCB has finally got something right. If they can keep organizing matches against Zim, Bang, WI, NZ year after year, they can claim to be the 'most succesful team of the year' every single year. Link to comment

Pagalpanti
Why don't you play 7 match series 'away' with Netherland, Scotland too? You might be the best team in the history. Link to comment
Magneto
My god, winning against Kenya, Ireland, Canada must have been tough! Unknown players, unknown territory. Link to comment
CSK Fan
Playing against minnows, playing on tracks where even Afridi spins the ball. But having said that, they have come a long way since last year. Link to comment

jairamesh
and another very important thing' date=' as we know not a single match been played in home grounds so winning at this ratio away from home :two_thumbs_up:[/quote'] umm seeing those stadiums full of men in shalwar qameezs in UAE during the odis was pretty much lahore or rawalpindi, and same for the conditions, the pak team were more home in UAE than pakistan for many obvious reasons. panther
it might be nothing to many fans here but remember we were not one of the top 5 odi teams in the world before the series with sri lanka still i think this team is weak in the batting department some players should not be in the team such as malik, farhat and tanvir Link to comment
