velu Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 my colleague got Mi 3 and i played with it for 30 mins.. i registered it in for Mi3 flipkart .. if Mi 3 is priced at 30K and galaxy S5 is priced at 35K , many people will choose Mi 3 .. +ve:- 1) super slim body and overall appearance is good ( front and sides ) 2) killer battery 3) noooooooooo bloat .. she got 16 GB version and available memory is 11.9 ( in galaxy S5 user get 8.5 out of 16GB ) 4) clean and simple UI 5) weight is less for such a big dimensional phone -ve:- 1) thick bezels , appearance doesn't look good in the front when using it 2) made in china - randomly checked light sensor , lux value is not precise ( never gave 0 even the light sensor is completely covered ) verdict:- close your eyes and buy it .. if xiaomi concentrate in india , they might kill samsung phones .. guess it makes little extra money through services aka apple .. but i dont think this will work in india .. xiaomi might sell well in india , but they wont make money like china

But the way Xiaomi is going, I expect them to improve a lot. As for Nexus...I honestly don't think it will continue for long (I guess N6, if it comes, should be the last) :( One thing they should do right now is to improve their collaboration with Flipkart or look for other sales avenues bcoz they've left a LOT of unsatisfied people who couldn't get the phone as it was sold so fast.

Such an easy fight dude rooting actually makes it more secure...get your facts straight :winky: also rooting has nothing to do with security its manual process where you give urself admin privileges yes it takes advantage of exploit but you do it urself after entering password,ticking many boxes ,reading atleast 2 warning ,connecting it to pc and then again trusting that pc and enable debug mode etc in short its like saying white house is not secure because people with permission can enter it :giggle:
