I haz a sad and **** apple :finger: Backup to iCloud, erase your data and then do a fresh install. Restore your iCloud backup once done. There seems to be one app which is causing an issue for you. I assume you have a 4S. I didn't do any fresh install btw and updated over the air - absolutely no issues. I was supposed to wait for few months to update the 4S but it makes much sense to do it now for this upgrade.

I'm waiting for that on the upcoming iPad...should have double the ram and be even more awesome But those benchmarks must be tested using an Iphone 5S, not on a note 3 or G2. A same SOC gives different results on different screen sizes and resolutions. A 720P resolution 4-inch screen benchmark of an SOC will be different on a 5 inch screen 1080P resolution.

The A7 is a four cluster design, so that four USCs or a total of 256 FP32 ops per clock. At 200MHz that would give the A7 twice the peak theoretical performance of the GPU in the iPhone 5. And from what I’ve heard, the G6430 is clocked much higher than that. There’s more graphics horsepower under the hood of the iPhone 5s than there is in the iPad 4. While I don’t doubt the iPad 5 will once again widen that gap, keep in mind that the iPhone 5s has less than 1/4 the number of pixels as the iPad 4. If I were a betting man, I’d say that the A7 was designed not only to drive the 5s’ 1136 x 640 display, but also a higher res panel in another device. The iPhone 5s is quite possibly the biggest S-update we've ever seen from Apple. I remember walking out of the venue during Apple's iPhone 5 launch and being blown away by the level of innovation, at the platform/silicon level, that Apple crammed into the iPhone 5. What got me last time was that Apple built their own ARM based CPU architecture from the ground up, while I understand that doesn't matter for the majority of consumers - it's no less of an achievement in my eyes. At the same time I remember reading through a sea of disappointment on Twitter - users hoping for more from Apple with the iPhone 5. If you fell into that group last time, there's no way you're going to be impressed by the iPhone 5s. For me however, there's quite a bit to be excited about. The A7 SoC is seriously impressive. Apple calls it a desktop-class SoC, but I'd rather refer to it as something capable of competing with the best Intel has to offer in this market. In many cases the A7's dual cores were competitive with Intel's recently announced Bay Trail SoC. Web browsing is ultimately where I noticed the A7's performance the most. As long as I was on a good internet connection, web pages just appeared after resolving DNS. The A7's GPU performance is also insanely good - more than enough for anything you could possibly throw at the iPhone 5s today, and fast enough to help keep this device feeling quick for a while.

I think anand captures it very well in the final parts of his review. i did read it but in tests at 1080p gap did decrease and why this big surprise ? snapdragon 800 came month or 2 ago next month u will see even more powerful chips it wil go on and on.. s update is always about processor but will u realy feel real world difference ? i dont think so . i read that article quickly as i dont have time but gpu wise in some triangle tests it lagged behind and cpu wise im sorry if im saying something wrong but arent those tests just restricted to browser performance ? browser performance is always better on ios and windows phone even with similar or bit weaker hardware..anyway they dont matter much in real world usage anywa thing this gpu will do is future proof this phone as it does not even have a 720p screen so should play games for atleast 3 more years if not more :P

Right now I feel I'm trying to have a conversation with a wall. I donno, maybe I can't just get my point across. I'm least bothered to sit and try to explain it in such a way that everyone would understand... I dont think I'm even capable of doing that.. So I guess you can believe what you wanna believe.

Ya if you can afford it is fine. But just to be hip and uptodate changing phones every year absolutely makes no sense. Some can't wait for next update .. the amount of hype, marketing is so clever lot of guys update their phone everytime there is a new phone. They celebrate that as an event. And the usual fanboys religiously upgrade their phone as if they have a contract with manufacturer. It is their choice. But the word futureproof is laughable. FUndamental operation of a phone has already reached its saturation level. Remaining aspects are all just add ons no matter how you look at it

It to play games which honestly don't work after 2 years or 3 years if ur lucky ?. Since I was talking about GPU I thought of games only while commenting :winky:

Since I was talking about GPU I thought of games only while commenting :winky: I am talking about the fundamental aspects of a phone. Bluetooth, face talk etc.. have all come a long way. Rest of the stuffs like gaming , camera, browsing, are the ones that are on the focus. Like in desktop they may never end. The chip makers will run the show for foreseeable future in those areas.
