Old guy Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 Have u got the replacement yet .I am also planning to buy an air as iPad 4 is hurting my wrists while reading and do not want to go for mini retina with colour gamut issues.So is the new iPad air with no tint issues. Will get it back on Monday or Tuesday...i saw one in shop and it had no issue so its all about luck.. Btw air is really comfortable for reading much better then 4 but u should go for mini if weight is issue.. U would probably not notice color gamut most people don't... For me it was big deal as every display sucks after using htc one haha

But don't get ur hopes high from what I have read its issue in every damn ipad... But extent of issue varies.. Some are unusable others are ignore able

velu Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 its all marketing sapphire will be more scratch resistant but thing is samsung acquired gorilla glass itself i think.. normal person wont see the difference and there will still be scratches from sand no ? samsung invested some millions in gorilla glass manufacturing company.. all camera lens covers are usually made of sapphire which means they r better than GG in avoidig scratches.. i read sapphire is the default transparent armor in military vehicles and also used in flight windows.. also apple wont simply move from GG3 to sapphire unless they find some obvious advantage.. i think we need a robust mobile like nokia 1100 in smartphones , which is more of a design than what materials are used

That android phone is mainly for low level market share, cheap as chips probably.

Detonator Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 My sister bought LG G pro. the phone is making me mad. i thought xperias have the worst wifi buys but this phone is worser. the phone also gets hot and start to lag if I browse for 30 mins. and a lot more problems with contacts and msgs too. the specs are mouth watering, just don't fall for it :wall:
