cricketbash Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 All these stats were not fake. They came off at some point in time.. All those who complain that Sachin has been a failure, are actually his overt supporters.. They simply can't digest his failures and want him to succeed everytime, he takes the field. Alas, If Sachin were a God... Good write up there Sachinism!
BERGKAMP Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 does the 100 100s even really mean that much? it has been way overhyped by the media, if it was 100 100s in one format only then yeah but this is a bit ridiculous. whenever you see cricket statistics they are always for either odis or tests, never combined, so why should this have any extra significance.
Sachinism Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 sometimes i wonder if tendulkar would have been loved as much as he is if statistics were not such an integral part of sport. Well wonder no more. And maybe open up them eyes. I can watch him bat whenever and never have to worry about the stats

zep1706 Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 does the 100 100s even really mean that much? it has been way overhyped by the media, if it was 100 100s in one format only then yeah but this is a bit ridiculous. whenever you see cricket statistics they are always for either odis or tests, never combined, so why should this have any extra significance. No it doesn't. It wasn't even such a big deal until the England series. Tendulkar had quite a few chances in the world cup, but it wasn't such a huge hype in the Indian media then. The pr team of ECB hyped it up to ensure packed stadiums and TOI and the likes picked it up and beating the drum on every occasion since then. Australians are doing what the English did, so much so that their PM who probably doesn't even follow cricket also wants it. It serves two purposes, 1. Pressure on the main player of the opposition, 2. More crowd.
Ultimate_Game Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 Not gonna happen this series. He will get to the milestone in a home series later this year but it will feel hollow considering the series in England and if we flounder the same way in Aus.
phaedrus Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 journalists need to STFU about this bloody milestone. its getting boring and extremely annoying. there are much important things the team needs to worry about than this. i'm so sick and tired of reading about it and unfortunately you cant escape it. its EVERYWHERE.
akshayxyz Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 bas.. bahut ho gaya.. insaan ko khelne do ab.. waise pata nahi kitne logon kee rozi roti band ho jaaegi, once he retires for good.
adi B Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 i dont care if sachin scores his 100th 100 or he doesnt, i just want india to win which is highly unlikely, but tbh sachin not getting the ton is affecting the team please get the ton nd retire... let others play
Andrew Peter Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 Tendulkar is the only batsman who is getting a good start in his innings however the fall of wickets at the other end forces him to go into the shell and thus affects his performance .
rabinjackman Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 AH! The 100th 100... looks more likely he will finish on 99. The Bradman number of status
Septimius Severus Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 Why india poasters call Tend the midget?
rabinjackman Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 coz the rest of them are all giants? :nervous:
Ramzz Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 OMG, stop with all the hype about the 100th 100. He will get it eventually. I wish there was more hype/prayers for India winning this test. Jeez.
adi B Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 sachin should pay the aussie bowlers nd fielders half a million $ each.... i am sure the aussies will consider this bcoz by the time he comes to bat next , india will be trailing by 200 runs and his 100 would come in a lost cause, so yeah maybe the aussies will consider the offer
Haarkarjeetgaye Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 MKC. bloody does anyone care about India winning
Ultimate_Game Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 So it's 9 tests and running and still no 100 :giggle:
