Australian fans need a reality check

Will depend on confidence of batsman and injuries IMO.There isnt really much between either side though we have batsmen in better form and under much less pressure. Neither bowling attack is as good as some are making out here IMO.If Waston cant bowl then i really think Aussies will struggle to take 20 wickets against us unless they prepare green tops which will be to our advantage

I bet you consider Yasir Arafat to be our greatest ever fast bowler:cantstop:
Whoever your supposedly greatest ever bowlers are, they never won a series in Australia, so I'd be making dua that the Indian bowlers you are rubbishing don't do exactly that in the next month :two_thumbs_up:

its not that australia lost a test match, its that they lost 15 more since 2008. only done better than zim and bangbros. they have lost matches in almost every conditions against almost every opposition. its not a good place to be. you can call people who dont agree, anything but this is the fact. btw, good job at diverting traffic to your website, asking people for opinion and then attacking them when they dont agree with you.

I understand what you are saying and maybe you are right, but the way the likes of Ponting, Hussey and Haddin are batting it doesn't exactly instill confidence. I mean, if they were to be replaced I don't think the new batsman could do much worse than they are at the moment. I'm willing to give them the chance to start the Indian series but if it drags on much longer, then you have to face the facts at some stage. It's quite clear the batting line up has severe problems, we have collapsed far too often. First change is obvious which is Hughes needs to go and spend a few more years in FC fixing up his technical problems, shift Watson back into the side. And then Marsh will come back in at the expense of Khawaja.

Marsh's addition should give a boost. is Watto fit for the first test?
Yeah, he will be fit I believe. The only problem I have is that if we go with Marsh, Harris and Watson for the 1st test, that's a bit risky. I think they will leave Harris till the 2nd test.

The OP seems over confident of an aussie win. You really need to look at the current state of aussie batting before getting too high. An India - Australia test series is almost never a one-sided affair these days and Aussies are under tremendous pressure with changes looming on the horizon after the dismal performances of recent months. However, there are 2 reasons that I would think favour an aussie series win: 1 - India has not won a test series down under and the mental block needs some work to be overcome (mind you we have been getting closer in the recent tours) 2 - the thrashing we received in england can quickly come to mind if we lose the first test (a good start is very important for india though this team is experienced enough to come back) Overall, a key factor for india is the fitness of the frontline seam attack.

Fair enough. ZAK is India's hope for success. I never rated Ishant anyway. Yadav is fast. There is a possibility he may turn out to be a surprise package. Chances seem slim though. He didn't impress me enough against the Windies, in ODI's.
:hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: He has 2 MOSs - one in a series win against Oz which Pakis haven't done since god knows when and the other in a series win in Indies which Pak hasn't done ever. Enjoy your **** trundlers Gul, Junaid etc Ishant>>>>>Any post W-W Paki bowler

They said similar to Irfan... We have Irfan alike bowlers playing Gully cricket. Irfan won whole series against Paki batters in PAKISTAN...
Irfan has won more matches in Oz than Gul, Akhtar, Asif, Amir combined (These guys have won 0). B->

This has again pointlessly turned into an Indo-Pak thread  Nowadays, most threads at ICF either turn into an Indo-Pak thread, or a Sreesanth-No Sreesanth thread :whack:

Watson - gambo's better Warner - sehwag's better Marsh - dravid's better Ponting - over the hill. srt's better Clarke - laxman's better Hussey - good batsman but not in form. but still i'll take him over kohli Haddin - same as dhoni Siddle - same as ishant sharma Pattinson - good but zaheer's better Cummins - not playing Lyon - we have destroyed better spinners in warne, murali, vettori, swann etc. lyon is a non - factor ... Would thump India.
Reminds me of these :cantstop:
Cook v/s Mukund = Cook Strauss v/s Gambhir = Strauss Cook v/s Sehwag = Even (Once Sehwag comes in) Dravid v/s Trott = Dravid Sachin v/s KP = Sachin Laxman v/s Bell = Laxman Raina v/s Morgan = Even Dhoni v/s Prior = Even Bhajji v/s Swann = Even. Anderson v/s Zaheer = Even Tremlett v/s Ishant = Even Broad v/s Praveen = Praveen Its 4-2 India :nice:
Mukund vs Cook = Cook Strauss vs Gambhir = Gambhir Dravid vs Trott = Even Tendulkar vs KP = Tendulkar Laxman vs Bell = Laxman Raina vs Morgan = Raina Dhoni vs Prior = Dhoni Harbii vs Swann = Swann Zaheer vs Anderson = Even Ishant vs Tremlett = Even PK vs Broad = Broad I have it 5-3 in India's favour, but their attitude will let them down. England will be the hungrier side...

Good God!:hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: *wipes tears of laughter from his face* :haha: The time is ripe for a big innings from Punter. I'm banking on him to score big at Melbourne.
