mishra Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 Actually Not just Ponting... This time it may be a list :hysterical:
MCcricket Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 We will revisit this thread when the Indians will make mincemeat of the Kangaroos in their backyard. After the 2003-2004 series - Steve Waugh's career was over After the 2007-2008 series - Adam Gilchrist's career was over After the 2011-2012 series - Ricky Ponting's career will be over Will be fun to watch Ponting in Sydney, melbourne, facing Ishant, Ashwin, Rahul would've been purrfect:sniffle:
Magneto Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 Actually Not just Ponting... This time it may be a list :hysterical: Not considering the fringe players in this - just the greats. Here, the only other guy in contention is Hussey, and I am too fond of Hussey to wish him bad luck.
MCcricket Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 We will so miss BHOOKANAN, Chappal, Capt Panting, maaki Synonds, Haydo crazo, Grumpy MCPhart, those players wouldve sledged,:--D needled , posted outrageous interviews to charge up the Indians.
mishra Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 @Saurav TBF, After going through katich incident, And continued Aussie failure, I think a series loss should encourage Clarke to pass on his captaincy cap. Definitely his personal views are hurting Aussie cricket
Magneto Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 @Saurav TBF, After going through katich incident, And continued Aussie failure, I think a series loss should encourage Clarke to pass on his captaincy cap. Definitely his personal views are hurting Aussie cricket He'll not pass it on unless he's kicked out. And there's no strong captaincy candidate as well, Shane Watson or Brad Haddin are hardly replacements for a full-time Australian captain.
Naaz-neesh Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 but but they are bowling powerhouse. They take wickets against mighty Zimbabwe and Bangladesh. :cantstop: no need to get suckered into poor trollers fishing net, pakistan's bowling are going thru a re-stocking phase.:winky: neverthless i think this indian bowling attack is well placed for this tour, especially that new kid yadav after seeing him trouble the english and west indies batsmen on docile indian pitches, fletcher must have sighed a huge relief after the last two one days series. but i think the surprise package will be ashwin, as he is the type of bowler that will dumbfound new starts to test cricket, i.e. warner, hughes, khawaja, marsh, and i can see ponting, haddin and the aussie tail struggling to pick up his variation, and ashwin should enjoy the bounce too. indian bowling's threat will come from clarke and hussey, if zaheer is fit then hussey can be taken care, hence leaves clarke who seems in good nick and plays spin well.

Old guy Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 He'll not pass it on unless he's kicked out. And there's no strong captaincy candidate as well' date=' Shane Watson or Brad Haddin are hardly replacements for a full-time Australian captain.[/quote'] goes to show how bad condition of there cricket is lol wht this hsows is apart from clarke there is no permanent member in team either cos of injuries or lack of performance and guy like hussey is too old and may be dropped.

Old guy Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 But Hussey is younger than our BIG 3. yes but no one is taking abt his retirement and some people think laxman might retire after this series! also they are performing
Old guy Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 and i was talking abt hussey (too old) as in that he cant be made caption
Magneto Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 and i was talking abt hussey (too old) as in that he cant be made caption Kumble was made captain at a similar age :winky: And they are anyway singing Hussey's retirement song as well
Old guy Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 Kumble was made captain at a similar age :winky: And they are anyway singing Hussey's retirement song as well  kumble's place was never in doubt he was sure thing to play atleast 2-3 years but hussey is diff story if it wasnt for tht sri lanka tour he would ve been dropped by now

What a pathetic player......he blindly swings his bat at any wide deliveries. Doesn't deserve to be in OZ team
PenPaperSports Posted December 14, 2011 Author Posted December 14, 2011 "this is the best bowling attack we ever had" - What a stupid thing to say.
deathmonger Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 "this is the best bowling attack we ever had" - What a stupid thing to say. you'll say the same thing after this tour. :winky:
Old guy Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 this is actually a pretty good attack but u cant call it best w/o performance if these guy perform then it is best but u gotta understand it would be little tough for yadav to change his length to quickls good thing we have 2 warm ups ishant this is his last chance he has everything to become a really good bowler ..and lately even effort is there lets hope he can maintain his intensity which he showed on 1 or 2 spells in england
