awesome guy its all about momentum in his delivery he is not tall for a bowler, about 6 2 (same height as irfan pathan lol) however has anybody noticed that usually the fastest bowlers tend to be 6 1 and 6 2 I think Brett Lee and Mr Wart Akther too are in that zone

That article mention Makhaya Ntini just 5-9" .I don't think there was 3 inch difference between Steyn and Ntini

Dale Steyn = Champion Fast Bowler of this decade. :hatsoff: IMO in the next 3-5 years he has the potential to upstage the likes of donald and pollock in the pantheon of south african greats. He can potentially become the greatest south african fast bowler of all time.

@ an average of 23. incredible bowler. we will look back on him in 20 years time as we currently look back on mcgrath, walsh etc.

Many Saffers already rate him above those two. I think he is already on Pollock's level and it is debateable as to whether he is better than Donald. Next year's England-South Africa series will be fantastic to watch, especially if Philander can keep up his form and perform abroad.
