Yob Ponting and Mr Cricket Hussey(calls himself Mr Cricket but cant bowl, go figure!!!!) are past it and will be retired by indians like many other aussie greats(Waugh, gilly and co). Then you have metrsexual Clarke. Who would have thought aussies would have a metrosexual skipper, how low have the aussies stooped. Who has this BS rep as the great player of spin even though averages pathetic 38 in India(more then ponting but that aint saying much) and mediocre 42 in SL. Another myth BUSTED! Then haddin comes in who is the very very poor man Gilly. Trys to play a shot every ball and it never comes of. Mediocre glove work. Then the spinner dept. I have not bothered even looking up their latest spinner, what his name, Tiger or something??? He is pants as evidenced by the fact that 678 spinners have been tried before him this year. He will get roasted by the galiticos and never be seen again after this series. They have a decent pace attack. Thats it! We are gonna batter them!!!

i agree with this. although, i would like to add that they DONT have a decent pace attack. they have one good bowler - pattinson. harris too, but he spends more time on the doctor's table than on the field. so we dont count him india smoked siddle the last time they played against him, and that spinner of theirs is rubbish. i feel sorry for him already, he is gonna get targeted by every indian batsmen, incl the tailenders. finally, a good post from someone on cricket talk. its been a long time coming.

His prediction came true then, here's hoping it comes true again this time :two_thumbs_up: If the bowlers stay fit (Zak and Ishant) i think we have a wonderful chance of winning the series. Umesh is a very good prospect and Ashwin is more than a decent offie, so bowling attack looks good provided the 2 i mentioned above stay fit.

I am sick to death of the moaning and the BS that we got out played. WE HAD 10 men. ZK got injured and could not bowl. I REPEAT WE HAD 10 men and only 3 BOWLERS! For godsake when ZK got injured we were all over them. We would have bowled them out for under 250 if he hadnt. In 2nd innings all over them again but as only had 3 bowlers it lapsed again. Christ what do you expect when Dhoni and Raina have to bowl in tandemn for long spells. I repeat we had 10 men and england took full advantage. But until England beat an 11 man India , i am not giving them any credit. I tell you if Anderson had broke down and they would have to bowl Trott and KP in long spell we would have racked up 800! We gonna pummel them in text match with 11 men and wipe the smiles of their smug faces. We gonna beat them form behind and stick their number 1 aspirations up their backsides. England have more chance of droping to 4th in world then number 1 after this series! Big backlash coming at Trent Bridge. England you have been warned!

This is the biggest reason I have hope of victory, despite the trundling twins threatening to claim a place in the starting eleven, the fact we have an intelligent spinner who wont start hurling darts at the first signs of aggression from the batsmen.

I think Aussie and India are on same plane...both have a mediocre attack ..Batting lineup looks great on paper but off late inconsistent ...so this series looks more likely to be 1-1 or 1-0 than 3-0 or 4-0 in one team's favor UNLESS ....Pitches are absolute green tops or Zaheer ends up playing all the 4 test matches (both seems unlikely)??

I find it stupid that you call Warner a 20/20 batsman, just because he is good at it. He has adapted his game to suit all formats and I think he is the future of Australian cricket up the top of the order. Also, I don't think Hughes or Khawaja will even play so that kind of ruins your point about our top 3.
