Malcolm Merlyn Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 As most of you are aware that the PATHETIC Star Cricket is not showing any speeds during the telecast. This thread is for those who have access to the Channel 9 feed and can watch the speed. Please post the Fastest ball of each fast bowler from either side. Please mention any 150k deliveries if bowled. Thank You
panther Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 yadav two deliverys at 150k however according to rkt india aus speed guns are tampered with
Jersey #10 Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 yadav two deliverys at 150k however according to rkt india aus speed guns are tampered with I highly doubt that Why can't StarCricket get feed from channel 9 for the speeds? It really doesn't bother me as i don't watch sh1tty star cricket streams (at least i try not to).
chainsmoker1985 Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 yadav two deliverys at 150k however according to rkt india aus speed guns are tampered with what do you mean by tampered with? Why would they tamper speed guns then showing wrong speeds to the audiences. On the 1st place, why'd channel 9 people tell rkt that we are going to tamper wid the speed guns :hmmm:
Hell Raiser Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 yadav two deliverys at 150k however according to rkt india aus speed guns are tampered with Tampered speed guns:omg: So now Afridi has started to smell the speed guns as well.
Serani Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 Speed gun tampering, the new spot fixing. I wonder how many bookies take bets on the speed of a delivery, I mean imagine how much money these corrupt TV producers can make from betting on the exact speed of a delivery, they need to be punished.
Malcolm Merlyn Posted December 27, 2011 Author Posted December 27, 2011 Guys can we have exact speed of Yadav's delivery.

panther Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 against sa siddle was mostly 135-145 in sa on sa speed guns however in aus v nz he was clocking 150+ quite a few times he even clocked 153 i think against nz
flamy Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 Siddle was really cranking up after that no-ball
Show_stopper Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 Just read from cricinfo that Pattinson bowled one at 153 kph and Siddle too crossed 150 a fair number of times. Even Hilfy was in the mid-140's.
VRV Singh Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 Pattinson consistently the phaastest overall. Guy looks built as well. Quite sure he was delivering balls in consistently at 145kph+.
express bowling Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 Just read from cricinfo that Pattinson bowled one at 153 kph and Siddle too crossed 150 a fair number of times. Even Hilfy was in the mid-140's. I don't know about Pattinson but according to Aus TV -- Siddle bowled just 1 delivery at 150 k or more --- 150.1 k Before he bowled this his fastest was 149.9 k. Cricinfo speeds do not tally with TV speeds.
express bowling Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 Pattinson doesn't just have the wheels' date=' he also looks like he'll morph into a serious metronome. Homes in on an uncomfortable length and plugs away relentlessly at pace. This is remarkable for a bowler who's just 21 - not even Steyn had this unnerving consistency for a good couple of years after his debut.[/quote'] Pattinson looks like a great prospect.

Most bowlers seem to bowl much quicker in Australia. Some people will say that it is because of responsive pitches which enthuses the pacers to put in greater effort. If this were the case then SAF pitches provide encouragment too but not everybody bowls as quickly there. I wonder why ? :winky:

FreakazoiD Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 Siddle > Pattinson > Yadav > Ishant > Hilfenhaus > Zak That's the bowling speed comparison. Siddle ranks ahead of Pattinson because of his ability to consistently bowl over 145 even towards the end of the day when he was looking unplayable. Pattinson tired and dropped to 140 after his first 2 spells
chainsmoker1985 Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 Siddle > Pattinson > Yadav > Ishant > Hilfenhaus > Zak That's the bowling speed comparison. Siddle ranks ahead of Pattinson because of his ability to consistently bowl over 145 even towards the end of the day when he was looking unplayable. Pattinson tired and dropped to 140 after his first 2 spells What was Siddle's highest speed? I don't think he crossed 150.1 k which was Yadav's highest. So by that logic, Yadav > Siddle. Now, by your logic, Siddle > All of them And I have just proved, Yadav > Siddle So, it comes out to be, Yadav > All of them :yay:
